I still consider the big stores like TCG and SCG to be primary.

I used to be able to sit on eBay and get cards way below what they sell for at those stores but now it seems not to be the case.

"Enough stock for a store" I would just get a license and go wholesale. I had one long ago before Wizard's got really upset at the non- brick and mortar.

Idk, it's been probably 8 years since I've bought a box.

Ok. So I saw Pucatrade, which isn't exactly what I wanted, but i do LOVE the idea and will likely use it.

    Anything else?

So I haven't played or bought cards since Zendikar block, and most of that was MTGO.

I recently decided maybe to start getting back into this game and the market of cards. I went around looking for a few old sites I used to use and everything is gone and even eBay is a lot less full than I remember. Like, a LOT.

Where'd everything go? Did Wizards kill the secondary market somehow? Or did Ross Edwards' box mapping thing before ruin everything? There's never more than like 10 booster boxes per set on there at one time except SOI.

    Thoughts? Advice?

The vote here still seems to be Innistrad. Especially with being $20 cheaper in general.

I've been out of this for the last few blocks now. Are they still only displacing one row of packs?

I've made some money on boxes before. In fact, I've never not broken even. I was just curious if people had experiences with a specific set. It's looking like Innistrad is the way to go, being $20 cheaper than RTR. I'll look around.

So what I'm seeing is Innistrad or Return to Ravnica.

Did those of you who picked RTR take the $20 difference into account? I've been leaning Innistrad based on it's price too, but I may be able to find cheaper RTR boxes around, especially in a case.

Ok, so I'm pretty sure that rare mapping isn't really getting people anywhere the way it used to. But paring a box is still possible I suspect. Now obviously I can look up the general prices of cards from sets using Ebay and MOTL and the like, but I'm looking for some anecdotal input from you guys here.

    Here are my box options.

    Innistrad - $89.99
    Dark Ascension - $88.97
    Avacyn Restored - $89.97
    Return to Ravnica - $109.99

I'm aware RTR has yet ANOTHER Jace (dear jesus why?), but it's also the newest set and of course, costs the most.

Any thoughts on which box would make the most sense to buy? Or a case of them?
