For the 1 mana extra is it worth being able to exile an attacking Sarkhan? What does one hit that the other can't? (I can think of Brimaz for starters)
Where do people stand on having either these cards in their SB?
Personally, im on team Pillar of Light. Wbu
EDIT: Pillar of light all the way guys after testing.
Absolutely amazing. Definitely a 1 of in the SB
Did some testing last night with a 1 of Aegis Angel in the board to protect Elspeth from incoming Hero's Downfalls. Worked surprisingly well, give it a go in your flex spot in the side guys.
The deck honestly seems to be shaping up really well. Might try and test out Silent Sentinel too. The idea being switching out Divination for Fonts and having a steady stream of CA late game. It can also possibly bring back old Banishing Lights too. Dunno if it'll be a bit janky, but I'll let you all know how it goes.
With all this talk on SB's might aswell post my thoughts
Those are really the only solid spots ive found atm. Extra Disdainful Strokes in the side is a trap ive found. I find I'm getting stuck on them in my hand and they can't counter Downfalls mainly.
Glare because as discussed, its a house against many common threats.
Negate for any midrange matchup with blue.
(Because they're bringing in Stubborn Denial)
Ram for aggro
Brimaz is in g2 against pretty much everything. He's a real powerhouse. G2 my early game plan is to just protect him and usually it works.
Devouring Light is there mainly for Mantis Riders, Sarkhan/dragons, well, any threat really. Its a pretty handy card.
Loving UW right now. Thanks Kevin and Donny for all your input towards the deck so far. Its helped heaps.
This is what im running atm guys, its heavily based around removal and control of early creatures and having copious amounts of tap target creature instants for my St Traft to swing safely.
Its been working great on Cockatrice and is shaping up to be quite reliable.

Nice list putting up some pretty good results. Worth a look at I think
Anything and everything dude.
Most people side out copious amounts of removal against us (besides downfalls) letting us ride an unmolested Brimaz to victory.
Whenever you find slightly sub-optimal cards in the main for g2. Thats when Brimaz can come in.
That being said he isn't that good against Green devotion.
