I wonder if it would count if someone like Garruk became an old man so he could become an oldwalker. Although Nicol Bolas would count in this case as a Oldwalker.

Jokes aside only if the writers will it that we will ever see an old walker again as canon. Otherwise I doubt it because Oldwalkers were these godlike beings who could bend the world to their will with the right spells and creatures. Even Yawgmoth proved to be quiet the challenge for Urza who he himself had to go through elaborate lengths and planning of mythical porportions to even have a chance to defeat Yawgmoth.

As well as Commodore Guff performing what perhaps is the greatest feat in the story of MTG, only to have get a real chance at defeating Yawgmoth.

It doesn't have to be an Oldwalker per se, but some walker that attained fully all his/her/its former abilities as an Oldwalker, is irrelevant if he did it in a natural or artificial way.

Being an oldwalker would make a lot more sense of how I am able to take a hit in the face from something as massive as a Craw Wurm more than once without dying considering that the average human is a 1/1.

Or take freaking Avacyn's punch to the face and survive (let alone keep fighting) or oneshotting Avacyn with a spell. Indeed this would indicate you are correct and makes the more sense.

However, it also not make sense having to draw mana from the lands, after all Oldwalkers could draw mana from Blind Eternities, in infinite or nigh-infinite ammounts.

I got a question, because now that I think about it what I stated in the OP may be in error. Is it true that the player (you) represents and Old Walker? Because my MTG mentor (my friend who initiated me in this, I am new BTW) as well as some forums and some posts I have seen here say so, but I am not sure. If it is the case is kinda confusing now that I think about it.

That's really up to personal interpretation. The marketing simply stated "You are a planeswalker" but it never went to any effort to dictate an era you came from.

Ah I see, this would explain a lot of the comments and threads I have ever seen internet-wide.

Though I was under the impression the player was always supposed to be whatever it was at that time as a Planeswalker and at the age of whatever the in-story age is supposed to be.

Bolas seemed to believe it can be done though.

Well basically what the title say. Lets not fool ourselves guys...... oldwalkers were badass, I mean there has to be a reason the player (you) in MTG represents an Oldwalker and that reason is that these guys are pure badassery.

So yeah my question is, will we EVER see one again? Now, I get this is so they can put stuff in the cards, but not everything has to be on the cards. I think it would be badass if we saw an Oldswalker again, it doesn't have to be a general thing, but perhaps a storyline where Bolas regain his oldspark and they have to take him down or something like that.

I have never used the Champion ability (im new in fact I just knew such an ability existed), I tried to research on it but really I didnt understood well what it does, it appears its some sort of copy upgrade or something, can someone please explain it to me?

A similar effect could be achieved with an equipment, in fact. Thornbite staff gives "untap when creature dies" which will happen every time you sacrifice a creature to either a skirk prospector or goblin bombardment. As far as cards with intruder alarm's exact effect, the answer is no, as it has been a casual combo powerhouse for years for that reason alone!

But dont you have to pay 2 mana to use the effects of the staff? It has a 2 mana sign in triggering the ability.

Yes the ringleader seems to be a great help, thanks a lot, I already use matron.

Is there any enchantment, spell, monster aside from Intruder Alarm with the same effect?

Since it seems is the only card on which Im dependant if it will draw 1 of the 4 copies of it or not, since there are no tutors for it, so I was thinking adding another to make sure I could use the untap effects.

The issue with the Krenko + IA + Bombardment is that it takes a long, yes it owns, when I get to summon it, but I need to accelerate it somehow. Any ideas?

Thanks guys, currently I have the winning combo: Krenko Mob Boss + Intruder Alarm + Goblin Bombardmen or Goblin Fireslinger

but its too slow mostly for 1-1 matches, it works like a charm in multiplayers though. So yeah I was wanting to enhace the speed by allowing more win routes or speed it up. I as well have 4 goblin matrons.

Any advice you want to give me for my current deck? Currently is:

    - 4 Krenkos
    - 4 Goblin Bombardments
    - 3 Goblin Fireslingers
    - 4 Intruder Alarms

The rest of the deck are just other goblins like Goblin Arsonist, Graveler, Vexing Devil etc. as well Krenko's Command to summon easily 2 tokens. I have Infernal Plunge to generate quick mana, I have 4 of them, albeit is not a guarantee I will get it into my hand.

The issue is slow to get the right combo Krenko + Alarm + either fireslinger or bombardment or my new addition (but currently I only have 1 card) Lobber Crew. Any advice to how speed it up or enchace it?

Also there is a doubt I have, Krenko himself counts as a Goblin? Krenko duplicates your goblin count, my question is, if only Krenko is in play can I put a goblin token counting Krenko as a goblin? Or Krenko isnt counted as a goblin?

Hi guys, Im new here. Well I was trying to arm my deck, and wondered if its possible to get infinite untaps with Goblin Fireslinger and Lobber Crew, using blue and or red mana cards. Any ideas of how to achieve this? I havent found how to do it.

    Thanks, in advance.
