So, as you may know, Origins was originally going to prominently feature villains. When it was decided to be the last core set, though, they changed it to the origin stories of our main cast.
Before this, though, I had read Mark Rosewater saying he wanted to create a "rogue's gallery" for magic, which kind of falls in line with the villains idea, but also works fairly well with the avengers/justice league we have, now.
Then, we go to Zendikar and deal with 2/3 of the Eldrazi titans. Next, we go to Innistrad and find the remaining Eldrazi. Emrakul then "possesses" Tamiyo and alters an apocalyptic spell to intentionally trap herself in Innistrad's moon, feeling the time isn't right for her... yet.
And, of course, Nahiri is still around.
Now, we are on Kaladesh. Tezzeret (an agent of Bolas) is also on Kaladesh, judging a science fair. One such science project is a teleportation device created by Rashmi. Saheeli refuses to assist her (at first), because Rashmi didn't know the potential for what she created, implying a connection to the blind eternities and planeswalking.
So, I'm not positive how exactly we could connect Bolas to the final main antagonist of the multiverse, but the phyrexians are naturally incapable of holding a spark or planeswalking without assistance. Even so, we don't know anything about Tezzeret's intentions, so it may be as simple as him handing it over to the mayor of New Phyrexia.
I think, right now, we are setting up our Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and Jokers and Lex Luthers and etc.
EDIT: let me google that for myself:

Going by nevermore's rulings:
Once godsend is gone, you can cast cards with that name, again. If the creature is no longer in exie, it is not considered exiled by godsend.
Yes, hero of iroas's ability will reduce the cost of a bestowed creature. However, the question at hand was whether or not ragemonger's ability can reduce the cost of gnarled scarhide cast for it's bestow cost, since, as a creature, it is a Minotaur. However, you choose to cast it as a creature or an aura (which cannot be a creature type, since it us not tribal) before cost reductions are figured or costs are paid. When you go to figure cost reductions, it is an enchantment - aura. Ragemonger says, "nope!" And continues on raging.
I asked magicjudge on tumblr about this earlier, and she replied:
"No.
By the time you determine its costs, it’s no longer a creature spell, which means it’s not a Minotaur spell."
Noncreature Enchantments cannot have creature types unless it's a tribal enchantment.
Not a whole lot of excitement, except for Forgestoker + archetype of finality. That caught people off guard big time. "activate the dragon three times. targeting each of your creatures. He has death touch." Quite confused as to how he had death touch.
Got some good stuff, though, in my kit:
Kiora
Thoughtseize
Satyr firedancer other stuff
Boon Satyr
other stuff
Then, in my two prize packs, pulled a temple of malice, which I wanted for my minotaur deck.
When you attack with your stolen stealer, since it is still enchanted by the ordeal, it will trigger. When ordeal sees the third counter, it will be sacrificed, and ordeal's controller (the opponent) will gain 10 life.
Th fused split card resolves at the same time. It just resolves in left to right order. They will draw 2 cards, then take damage.
Which makes me sad. It is as if casting one spell, which makes me think goblin electromancer wont be stupid and reduce the spell by 2
Drop the hellriders, main 4 pillars, and add Archwing dragon.
4x Essence Backlash
4x Izzet Charm
2x Rewind
3x Syncopate
4x Think Twice
3x Thought Scour
7x Island
7x Mountain
4x Steam Vents
4x Sulfur Falls
4x Guttersnipe
2x Talrand, Sky Summoner
thinking about replacing essence backlash with hands of binding.
I assume that it is only working for you (especially that way), because you may be doing it wrong.
You can use undying evil on the devil, but if you did, no one should be willing to take 8 damage, knowing they will be taking 8 damage.
I could be wrong, but i am assuming you are playing undying evil in response to the opponent choosing to take 4 damage. You cannot cast an instant at that point.
You can play vexing devil. When it enters the battlefield, the ability will trigger. THEN, you can put undying evil on the stack. Undying evil will resolve. The devil now has undying until end of turn. THEN, the ability resolves. The opponent makes a decision ONLY AFTER the etb trigger resolves. When they make the decision, the devil will either stay or leave. Priority is not given in time to respond after the decision is made.
22 Mountain
Creature
4 Ash Zealot
2 Hellrider
4 Rakdos Cackler
4 Stonewright
4 Stromkirk Noble
2 Zealous Conscripts
4 Brimstone Volley
4 Searing Spear
Sorcery
4 Flames of the Firebrand
4 Pillar of Flame
2 Reforge the Soul
Always brushed stonewright off, but I do like the idea of him boosting ash zealot, especially putting him out t3. I'm surprised, because I don't think I saw anyone listing zealous conscripts. That chick wins games. Also considering splashing black for tragic slip or a sideboarded vile rebirth to combat undying.
