in a mono black deck I'd probably prefer tendrils of corruption. But considering that this is basically a bone splinters without the sacrifice clause on turn 4+, it might be good in some kind of black tempo deck.
tears will be wept the day Nighthawk rotates. That man has guarded my life, taken the hits for me, and hit my opponent. You shall be missed Bruce.
But the card I will really miss. Desperate ravings. Never has a card so accurately described the player casting it. Never has such a simple spell let me tear through half my deck to find that second copy of Olivia. Never has a card both screwed me so many times and won me so many games. Although it may not love me back, it's passing will bring with it many sorrows. Nothing can replace such a simple and effective dig spell, especially given the lack of good cheap instant speed draw recently.
Rakdos is terrible because he dies to murder.
Aristocrat is terrbile because she dies to tragic slip.
Traft is bad because he dies to supreme verdict. idk why anyone ever plays him, no etb effect and dies in combat so easily.
Honestly I think Rakdos might see some play, depending heavily on what decks become good and what decks stop being good. i can easily see him becoming a big player in a deck, but i can also se him not being in many decks. I personally hope he makes it into a good deck since i want more aggro options than W/x or zombies. Then again i still want vampires to be a thing, so maybe i'm crazy.
Anyone else have some other bad cards we can use to make Rakdos better? Vexing Devil deals damage the opponent right?
blood artist. run your guys into blockers, and unless they blockers don't die and your guys don't die, you'll get your opponents to lose life. if your guys don't die and there's don't die, then there's a bigger issue at hand.

tormented soul seems like it might see play in a deck that hates blocking playing against a deck that wants to block.
