Dawnbringer Charioteers is by far the best, at 4cmc with evasion and a fair enough P/T, and basic Heroic ability is great on it. Lifelink is a plus.
Doomwake Giant is 2nd best imo. 4/6 for at only 4B instead of 3BB like how'd you expect makes it much easier to get out, and that trigger is actually relevant. it could make all the difference. you can either swing in and hope to hurt his creatures and clean them all out with it in your 2nd Main Phase, or drop it beforehand to caution him from blocking. then with the amount of enchantments and such in this block, that trigger will be brutal on your opponent's side. making it asymmetrical and non-detrimental to you is a huge plus from usual Black spells.
Scourge of Fleets and Spawn of Thraxes are a bit even to me. Scourge of Fleets is nice because i like the ability for potential boardbounce, but Spawn of Thraxes has evasion instead. but his ability could be used to get in that last bit of damage if you need.
Heroes' Bane, as fun as it is, is the worst compared to all of these. yes, you could have an 8/8 swinging on turn 6 or possibly turn 5, but with no evasion and no other abilities, not that great. just chump blockers all day really. you need to put effort to make this card game-winning.
Whelming Wave makes me excited for what other big green/blue creatures could be in this set! i'm so ecstatic about making my GU Monsters deck ft. Kiora!
how about, "Whenever you draw a card that is not the first one you draw in each of your draw steps, target creature an opponent controls gets -X/-X where X is the card's converterd mana cost?"
Just wondering but where does it say he Phenax? What I remember from the thing that talked about the Undead was that there were two (or 3, 3rd being just wanderers) factions. One that lived in peace and were merchants... which reminds me of BW. The other were the ones that were bandits/aggressive or whatever which I assume were led (or urged to fight) by the RB legend guy... which obviously brings out the idea of RB, not BU.
So is there any evidence this is not Atheros? We have the dual lands and there is a moon in the background of his picture... but there is also a river and his waste wrap is bluish.
Regardless I feel he is a Returned who become a God (or a God who became returned), not the God of the Returned... besides they wouldn't even know if there was one anyways. (they are all black because that is all they can be, since they are just dead bodies without memories)
Also, the Dual land and the Phenax card indicate assassins (and centaur mills which is a UB thing) but Grey Merchant and Scholar of Atheros are both related to life drain so if they had a god I feel there is more towards him being BW then UB. :/
well, considering all the other Gods are Allied-Colored, so should this one. and whoever released the Playmats officially confirmed all the names.
mine has got to be Bruna, Light of Alabaster. it was my first rare and mythic rare that i pulled when i started playing Magic in Avacyn, so she's special to me now. and creating EDH decks around her is just ridiculous.

i just wish it was on a better card, but this is great in limited right now.
