Darksteel, I look forward to your analysis of any cards that are worth discussion for our archetype whenever a new set is completely spoiled. Is one on the way?
I did some play testing against Grixis Delver today and I agree that the matchup is terrible. I even had a Leyline of Sanctity up to defend against discard and burn. I did not have any grave hate, but really what struck me was how difficult it was to get anything through. There was a volley of counters spells, recycled by multiple snap casters. This was against 2 different players.
I think even a rest in peace would really help us against this matchup. They are able to send out efficient creatures because of delve, and keep counter magic up for any removal, save supreme verdict.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience in navigating this matchup. I know it has briefly been discussed before. I think Grixis Devler/Grixis Control merits a larger focus of discussion.
Also, anyone else feeling like Dispel would be beneficial in the main right now?
