Been using it in Lazav to great effect, if you can get off a Sadistic Sacrament to hit lands + Eldrazi ahead of time, it's pretty easy to mill someone out with it.
He'd be alot better if it was symmetrical like Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. Then you could abuse cards with landwalking and things like Stern Judge or Angry Mob more easily. As it stands, he is OK if you use things like Caged Sun or Coffers... but like NGW said, not worth the deck slot.
I don't think it's worth banning, it's just another card that will make players go -
"I'm gonna go grab a beer while he finishes rubbing one out."
The thing is, it isn't an "I Win" card, it's a "Hey everyone allow me to spend ten minutes playing with myself as I figure out how I want to kill you." If on the off chance they have an easy 2 card "I win" combo, there are more effecient ways of assembling it.
I've been playing GrumpyBob and I really like him. He is a well costed body, that doesn't hit me for much (due to low curve and top deck manipulation) and often does a significant amount of damage to my opponents.

These go together really well, and are from Ravnica and Return to Ravnica, which makes them pretty easy to find.
Enter the Infinite (Repeat Sanity's statement here)
Undercity Informer
Aurelia, the Warleader
Deathpact Angel (Hate the card, love the art)
Godless Shrine
Illusionist's Bracers
Merciless Eviction
Signal the Clans
Bane Alley Broker (This style seems pretty unique to most magic art)
Gift of Orzhova
Guardian of the Gateless
Overall, this set had a higher than normal amount of amazing art in it imo. Alot of the art also looks really REALLY good in foil.
I love this in my Lazav deck, so good in conjunction with Lazav and the fact that things like Mesmeric Orb make it have alot of targets.

I'll second this, there are also a surprising amount of old creatures that errated to be humans, as well as it being a common creature type today.
Spawning Pit
Altar of Dementia
Undercity Informer
The latter two are especially good if you hit yourself to power out a big Living Death.
These are all really good and cheap cards that help keep Sigarda through boardwipes.
Bear Umbra
Boar Umbra
Snake Umbra
Umbra Mystic
My only complaint is that he doesn't actually "draw" cards, so I can't use him to punish via Underworld Dreams, Phyrexian Tyranny, Chains of Mephistopheles etc etc.
