I thought 4 md innocent bloods was interesting, since he doesn't run any creature it is pretty fast and efficient. It does look pretty slow, but maybe it has the methodology and tactics to bring the fast decks down to earth and force them to play his game.
8 months ago? I've been gone for a while and came back with all of this new talk of a change to legends rule, Jace getting the reprint and other earth-shattering events such as the release of True Name Nemesis. How has things changed and are games overall better now than they were 8 months ago?
I feel slightly sad that I spent all that time working on my Jund deck and it is now heavily unfavored.
They should create single color powerhouses. I totally agree. These type of cards would fit into the single and double color decks and create a slew of new decks, which could compete with all of these triple color decks.
The last time WoTC intentionally threw us a bone we got Mental Misstep. I honestly doubt WoTC knows how to print cards for Legacy anymore. (though I'm not sure if Deathrite Shaman and Abrupt Decay were stated as being intentionally printed for Legacy)
They know those cards are better than any other cards in the set (and RTR block). I think it's a given they'd be played in Legacy, same with Rest in Piece. You put Legacy playable cards in the packs, as people that do open packs, when they get these cards, they know they have gold and can either trade them to Legacy players, sell to the store (who knows the value) or put them up on ebay where Legacy players with money will pay whatever they need to get these new cards. It would really give more value to the packs for those guys who play limited and standard IMO.
Of course it is all about what deck your playing. If your playing red then yeah you will not say STP, but that is not the point and others who responded got the gist of it: I tired to make it as ambiguous and unqualified as possible, just to see how people would respond.

I know it is a loaded question, but boil it down to the a very basic premise of what one would you most likely rather have in hand ...
