I always feel a little guilty
The reason I do it is to greaten my card pool as im a competitive player i need good cards
I try to spend as little as possible on the game because I dont have alot of money
I do how ever buy new boxes from my card shop for each set to support my cardshop and thank them for letting me use their facility (even if i can get a box online for cheaper)
Im that guy at your local FNM that lurks around with their binder waiting to trade you, and when I trade you I make sure im walking away with a little more than before.
I know ALOT of people do this and I think its totally ok, i sometimes myself even trade these people or trade others and give them the better deal
its part of the fun of trading
Now ive been doing ths for a while and I know what to look for and quite often i come across people that just dont know what they have, and ill walk away with a good 10-15$ on top
Is this wrong? does this make me a bad person for taking advantage of them?
I was thinking to myself about how good is vexing devil really?
If you had a 60 card deck and it consisted of 40 vexing devils and 20 mountains
Youd probably win no problem right?
is this a good sign that vexing devil is a really good card?
What other cards could you make a deck with, with just that one card and lands?
Last FNM i played an opponent who would gytaxian probe me and then write down on a piece of paper all the cards in my hand.
this seems like cheating to me and im pretty sure there is a rule against doing this
I've also found that the people who wear tuxedo's are more apporachable and friendly. which considering all the jerks and DB's at an FNM being friendly is a very important trait... to other people atleast
Yeah I give mad respect to people who show up in a tux. Way to many show up smelling like ass and onions.
I understand that some work labor jobs and go straight from work to FNM but some just smell for the sake of smelling
Anyone have any insight on this
