Highlighting Magics history through, god forbid one or two cards a day, seems like a good idea. Sorry some of these cards are already known, again because of a way ahead of time leak, but we hadnt seen the Art for them yet so at least be positive. The leak only sped up previes and articles, sorry the whole set and story werent just dumped in your lap months ahead of time.

Well then check back April 13th. Thats two weeks before set release and TWO WEEKS from now.

WOTC have already said they were going to change up how they do spoilers.......Unfortunately we havent even been given the chance to see what the new format is going to be BECAUSE the LEAK ruined a lot of stuff, they were forced to acknowledge it and are now basically giving us BONUS CONTENT and people still complain.
I think you are missing the point, actually. The purpose of the internet is the free exchange of information, ideas, and opinions. People are allowed to express their opinions. You don’t have to like them. This isn’t a bonus. This is them cleaning up a stupid mistake. As I said, I find it annoying. I just want the set DONE. I hate trying to evaluate cards in a vacuum, when it is the environment they are in that matters. That 5/4 for three elf could turn out to be utter crap, but we all think it’s great because we can’t see everything. Similarly, something we think is abject garbage could be the star of the set. We can’t know until it is all there. It doesn’t matter what wizards said. People have opinions. I don’t have to like yours, either.

Sounds kinda gross tbh, like a bastardization of all highlander formats in a bid to sell more standard legal sets.
I guess this is designed for those people who want to get into commander but only have draft leftovers to build a deck from.
As someone who has been playing Standard 60 Card Highlander multiplayer since 1999 this is pretty cool.
Let me just add here that Commander by comparison sucks as a format. The key points in Brawl's favour is that there is a natural balance - its not a format where you have to play combo to be competitive. The fact that you have 10 less life means that beatdown/creature agro has a chance of doing something meaningful and you don't have a boring game of who can assemble that broken combo first to win. As an aside, even creature strategies in Commander are combo's. You don't win by incremental damage, you win by casting Craterhoof Behemoth....
You can't judge it until you try it - seriously give this format a crack as you may be surprised.

Vigilance and lifeline are not redundant. They are two very different abilities. First strike and double strike would be redundant. This creature is FANTASTIC as just a 2/2 for three with the ability to make equipments cheaper. The keywords are a bonus.

What I mean they were common abilities that is redundantly printed ability in white creatures like knights, clerics and soldiers. See IXALAN for example.
What I am saying is that this legendary creature would be interesting if it had Leonin Shikari ability instead of lifelink and vigilance that is commonly appears in white creature cards.
No other creature has the Leonin Shikari ability because it's... supposed to be a unique, special ability.

It’s a 2/2 for three that has upside (decreasing the cost of equipment) THAT IS IN COLOR. AND it has three, not one, not two, THREE white keywords. This card is FANTASTIC. Not everything is going to be Tarmogoyf good. This card is WONDERFUL for what it is trying to do. I play tons of modern. It is the only constructed format outside of EDH I play.
Oh, wow, Ghalta must be TERRIBLE to you since it has trample, which is on so many other green creatures. The fact that it is a GREEN FREAKING KEYWORD just doesn’t matter. Those three are WHITE FREAKING KEYWORDS! Of course they are going to be on other white freaking creatures!

Her right ear doesn't look pointy to me at all. I think she's just another boring human.
The perspective isn’t great. I wish I could see it better. The design looks cool, but I want elves. Nissa was ruined for me with that retcon. I play golgari elf tribal, and I don’t want some hippy tree mage. I wanted angry, goblin killing, badass elf lady. Llanowar elves don’t have the giant ears that the Joraga do on Zendikar, though. It could simply be the perspective. Sadly, she may be human. I’d be okay with her if they have Freyalise be her ancestor though. Freyalise was only half-elf.
She doesn’t look to be an elf. Look at the ears. Round, not pointed. At least, that’s how it looked to me. One of the few images that actually loaded for me. Felt like I was walking blind trying to take that survey. It’d be cool if she was Freyalise’s descendant, though.
That Llanowar Elves is a must have. Would like a better look at the Store Championship rare elf. Will probably want it too. Kinda like the new legendary frame.

O.o we’ve seen nothing that indicates it is. This is an FNM promo. They can be literally anything, but are usually something standard legal.
