Just a quick question. Can either Ulamog, the Inifnite Gyre's cast triggers be redirected with spells such as a Misdirection? This came up in our EDH playgroup tonight and the arguments started lol.
Kinda sucks. Ever since I lost my collection I've been trying to get back into Legacy. Now I really don't feel the need since the Champs event isn't happening. Oh well, this just means I'll be spending less time on MtG and more time on Anime, comic hunting, cosplaying, and other stuff.
This is not an aggro list, its a control deck. Hero is not in here because the four slot is dominated by by Day and Sorin. Blade Splicer could honestly be something else, but I really don't think there is a better option for the three spot. Any suggestions? And HotP would only be in here if it hit all of my tokens. I prefere to stay away from using creatures since Planeswalkers are more versatile and useful for this decks goals.
Hey everyone, figured I would post my ever changing list and see what people say. This has been making top8 at every showing but I keep getting the feeling it could be a little better. Keep in mind I like to control the early game and win through a war of attrition and inevability. About the only thing I will be changing this is is to replace a Plains with one Swamp. Any help would be appreciated.
I am currently running a WB planeswalker based token deck that ran 2 EoA in the sideboard this weekend. The card was a welcome addition after seeing what decisions it forced my opponents into. At the very least I Miracled it on turn 4 making one 5/5 Vigilant Flyer, almost rode it to victory alona (Elspeth helped her out a bit with some ground support). The card is good and I am honestly looking forawrd to using it again this weekend on Friday and Saturday.
I have been a fan of several of these, Venser vs Koth included. These are fun to play out of the box and I honestly don't mind using a little store credit to get them. At the very least my friends and I get a few laughs using them against each other.
I fail to understand why people -2 Sorin as soon as he comes out. With some very rare exceptions I always + him to get the Vampire token the first turn he is out. Hell, some games I never even put an emblem into play. Of course, those are the times I just use Sorin to steal other walkers.
Hero is a good card, put she needs to stick around for a turn before doing anything good. I hate paying four mana to hope Hero survives. The Angel, well, I haven't tested out at all.
Why would entreat be better than WSZ? Sure, if you miracle it you will get more effective guys, but you sacrifice flexibility in playing it whenever, instant speed, and potential reusability.
Hey guys, figured now would be the time to switch threads. I have been running Junkwalkers for a month now, but I have been steadily taking out the green cards for better white and black options. My list is a little more controlling then yours all appear to be, but it has served me well (ie:making top8, if not top4 in the last 4 tourneysI have entered).
I got the chance to test out WSZ and EOA both this week and I must say Entreat is pretty awesome. I ran Zenith Maindeck to handle control decks and the Entreat Side to put in against anything with flyers or critters that turn sideways. It worked out exceptionally well, to the point of the only time I didn't like Entreat was when I Miracled and forgot to leave Mana Leak mana open. Thats kinda what cost me top 4 last night, but oh well.
Well, I guess the person to prove me wrong was me. A friend had two Entreats so I threw them in the sideboard for lolz. Damn things were pretty awesome. as only a two of, I never saw them before turn five. But when I did get to Miracle them they put my opponets into a real bind. Apparently people can handle 3/3 spirits, but not 6/6 angels. Who knew? The only time I was sad with the card was when I made a player error in Top 8 game 3. I topdecked Entreat but I forgot to leave Mana Leak mana open, which cost me the game and a spot in Top4. Overall my only loss in rounds was to a Delver that I just couldn't find answers to, but it happens.
Not even sure if I should still be posting in here since I took green completely out of the deck.
TL;DR - If you can afford to purchase or trade for Entreats, GET THEM. Two, at the very least. But four would be just too many.
So if they can't agree it's played out?
Typically we split, but some players feel like playing it out and nobody can decide one way or the other. What is the ruling? Thanks in advance.

I know this isn't your typical WB tokens list, but has been serving me well and with any luck it will continue to do so.
This alter made my day. Kudos.
