DrWorm- picked them out of my local stores binder on a black friday sales last year, so it was 1.00 in store credit.
I havent thought of using TCG player to sell them, I'll give it a shot. I have two playsets currently. Thanks for the replies guys.
What does everyone think about the Eldrazi for the future? right now (especially emrakul) they are quite high. My guess is he wont see a reprint in MM2 (EDIT: only in EDH he is banned)
and those prerelease foils often cannot be used for main events.
My co-worker... She is gorgeous I can't even stand it. Her eyes glisten like the deep sea, but she has what seems to be a promise ring. Her smile just melts my heart. What do you guys (other magic players in general) do to get your mind off of someone who truly captivates you? She's obviously just being nice to me, but its hard to concentrate. I know I'm just ranting, but I seriously need help to get her out of my mind.
I need advice on beating tron. Theres about 12 players at my LGS, and theres 4 tron decks, three RG and one mono U. SHould I mainboard Bloodmoon? Im looking at taking tonys list next week.
Okay, let's put it like this. Starcity is losing money by selling them at this price, they are losing sales. But because they have them at this increased price, they aren't sold out.
Charging a premium for something is a lot better than not allowing customers to be able to purchase a highly sought after and advertised good.
If star city sold boxes at $100--same price as everywhere, no one would buy from those other stores, they would buy from the highly regarded starcitygames. This would cause star city to run out of product, without a reduction in the people seeking to purchase from them. Then people would go elsewhere, and starcity would gain a reputation of being sold out of things.
They charge more because they can. Star city running out of fall set boxes wouldnt garner such a reputation, if anything it would have the opposite effect. Thats one of the most ridiculous things ive ever read on MTGS
Store A: pretty good. 12 cash or credit, 4 rounds, 3-1 gets 16 credit and 4-0 gets 36 credit. Also close to where I work (5 min) so im there almost every friday/
Store B: 15 cash/credit, prizes are 6 packs first, 5 second, 3rd and 4th get 3 packs, and 5-8 get 2. I guess its not bad in the grand scheme of things, but not nearly as good as the first.
Store C: 12 cash, 3 rounds, 2-1 gets 2 packs and 3-0 gets 4 packs. Pretty lame.
Im trying to go into modern ... all i have is a crap load of fetch land (Around 20 each).
What you think about those possible trade (I always give pile a) :

2 Scalding tarns
Pile B

1 Tarnogoyf
-------

I dont know if i should wait after GP vegas to see how those card will be.
I wouldn't trade for the thoughtseizes at all (m14). For all the others, I would just keep the fetchlands. They have nowhere to go but up, and the blue ones especially could reach the onslaught fetchlands price in a few years. However, the clique deal i would probably do as thats a great deal on your part.

Is now the time to sell glittering wish? its right under 20 atm, looks like the highest buylist is 9.00.
I worry about emergency banning, though it doesn't seem to be too oppressive as I previously thought.
My goal: to become the CEO of my company.
Dream job: to become supreme overlord of the one nation world.

Seems like its up your alley, though it lacks the dredge part it retains the sweet zombie theme.
