    Has anyone taken this to a larger tournament? I want to take this to a PTQ as i've been playing it at fnm, Is it sturdy enough for 10 rounds? any ideas for the new meta?

    Played the updated list last night and yes I know standard will change agian but this list is pretty finely tuned the dispels might get replaced with putrify in the sideboard but it shouldn't change.

    I went 3-1 and only lost that game because bonfire is a miracle, Lost game 3 to turn 4, turn 5, turn 6 bonfires. Actually right in a row, as wipe proof as this deck is taking 6,7,8 dmg in three turns is just the game, I don't know the possible statistics of that actually happening, but it did. The increases to four rancors led me to draw more than one in many games which sped up the games greatly. Evil twin is amazing, he killed Siguarda in one game and with simic charm netted me 3 beasts 15 life and a dead thragusk on the opposite side. The naya player was very down troddened to see the zombies deck higher life total than his with two Duskmantles out.

    Any bug aggro players have any other input they have while playing, i know the list isnt the same as the young wolf one but I like mine better. Less triggers less room for mistakes, and i get to play Snapcaster with zombies.

    This human tribal looks like it is trying to achieve the same game plan with the Shaman tribal, but with slower and poorer results.


    Shaman tribal is unplayable with the banning of BBE, keep up on the ban list much?

    So I don't know how old most of you are but when I first started playing magic my favorite deck was sleigh, which was an efficient red deck with burn and land destruction. The next development of this deck was copying a black aggro theme of suicide called red guy dead, In RGD the aggro play used there life total as a way to turbo your game. So in that vein along with the naya blitz making waves in standard, My list for NayaHumans



    As you can see I end the game at about 6 life, Yes you fetch for a duel untapped for three life, but your a super tempo deck 3 life for at least 3 extra dmg/or 5 power on board is well worth it. Theres no trick lands theres no basics, yes path exiles your guy and you dont get a land but that card automatically puts you behind to begin with as you need 4 lands the whole game to play this deck.

    Champion of the Parish - Highest turn 2 dmg
    Experiment One - Second Highest turn 2 dmg
    Elite Vanguard - Over boros elite because doing 1 less damage more often, is better for your damage curve, than having the remote chance that your boros elite stays a 1/1

    Burning-Tree Emissary - Free bear that triggers CoP/X1
    Keldon Marauders - 3/3 with double burn that triggers 1drops
    Lightning Mauler - Haste all the things
    Mayor of Avabruck - Anthem with legs/Wincon if they dont spell
    Howlpack Alpha

    Silverblade Paladin - In standard this slot is Frontline Medic, while frontline is by no means a bad card the creatures in modern are not currently swarm decks as this one and the new gruul deck are the most aggro, so even just SBing with mauler gives both doublestrike and haste and leaving the champion to be swinging for 7ish without doublestike actually increases your damage output. Also SBing with marauders is a beast of a swing and lets you SB next turn. If gruul deck sees more play frontline may come back but most other decks wont block with any utility creatures, and your sideboard has answers to goyf. This shouldn't be to hard to cast except off BTE. If they make a decent R/G human 3 drop it probably will take this spot. Burning-Tree Shaman may be an option here.

    Mutagenic Growth - I realize we arn't playing infect however, we are playing suicide so a 1 for 1 trade on life totals are acceptable, or casting it with another 1 drop or bolt off BTE.

    Ghor-Clan Rampager - THIS CARD IS A UNCOUNTERABLE PUMPSPELL. 2 mana for 4 damage or creature retention.

    Boros Charm - How is this not the best aggro card they've made in a while, creature retention, doublestrike, or face burn for 2? its a terrible card.
    Thalia, Guardian of Thraben - Good for storm, U/W/x, and it's an all star against tron. While the last part of that seems counter intuitive tron starts the game first 4 turns or such playing Eggs/Explore/Map, Thalia generally puts them two turns behind which Should be enough time to kill him. You can beat a Karn, You can beat Wyrmcoil, You can't beat sundering titan.
    Mirran Crusader - Anti-Half the meta card with doublestrike that's also a human? Almost good enough to mainboard.
    Dismember - Suicide Removal for big lifelinking angel flyers and whatnots.
    Celestial Purge - Liliana destroys all of our plans.

    Manic Vandal - Heavy pod/affinity metas
    Nevermore - Catchall
    Fiend Hunter - Journey on legs?
    Path to Exile - Heavy creature meta
    Combust - G/U meta
    Naturalize - Card is never bad, over Disenchant because you can cast it off BTE

    Well so yeah I was going to play an RUW Control deck but I might as well start collecting cards from that stupid junk deck as it's not going away now and its getting a boost. It's not hard to play in a junk deck, as the last line of text says if its not a creature return it two your hand. Reanimate/Regrowth every upkeep? wtf are they thinking I hope SCG prices this card as a 6 mana enchant that does nothing, like they did with assemble. Cut souls/craterhoof add more healers and angels plus whatever bomb creature they end up printing in this block. FML wizards its a flashy card but I pretty sure its another tooth and nail.

    FNM Report We only had 26 so we had 5 rounds of swiss and we all just split top 8. I went 5-0 in the swiss with the Version 1.2 build and I would still make changes. The top eight of us just split prizes ended 12 bucks in store credit each.

    Match 1
    Orzhov Lifegain/ExBlood Combo -This deck uses Sorin/Rhox/Nighthawk to stablize earily mid game to reslove Orz GM and Ex blood for the win.

    Game 1 Sorin gets dropped and makes my rancored dudes slightly harder to rush down his life total, Zombies very effective against targeted removal.

    -3 Grisley Salvage
    -1 LolTroll
    +2 Needle
    +2 GolCharm

    Game 2 Needle on sorin and race Rhox to the ground throwing Rancor on messenger and chucking almost everything to LoLtroll.

    Match 2
    Jund Midrange (very classic list no groundseal main)

    Game 1; My hand very slow as I had to play tapped woodland cem. he plays Otomb DRS, I rip Wgrave off top and grisley into 3 lands an abrupt decay and Seer, take the seer. He turn two lilly's living the jund dream, i discard 2 gravecrawlers for the first two turns, game ends with lilly dying to rancored crawlers and seer's trigger killing him by him drawing a thragletusker. (I laughed at the irony).

    -1 Simic Charm
    +2 Witchbane
    +2 GolCharm

    Game 2
    Dire, into LoL troll, into Dredge discarding crawler, after curving for the first three turns I pull my charm on turn four, just conservitivly cast my crawler from the yard, and pass after swinging Jund at 7. He miracle bonfire tap out and I golgari charmed. He gave me the hand.

    Match 3
    Naya SuperRamp-This deck plays 6 mana guys,4 farseeks,2 Rangers paths, into casting 3 Serenitys, 2 Siguarda, 2 Gisela, 2 Aurella, and some midrange beats (2 thrags, 3 CentHealers). This is my friends deck we brewed it together when gatecrash dropped. No I didn't specifically make this deck to destroy him, but mostly decks casting serenitys and hoofs so it fit right in to my best matchups.

    Game 1
    Zombie shanagins until turn 4 where i drop a seer and it ends up doing more damage to him than all the zombies combined, Simic Charm undesputed quiet hero in this match up. He dropped aurelia at 6 after turn 5 thrag and went to attack I block messenger with thraggle and simic the aurelia he goes down 2 life. Top decking rancor turn 11ish put me over game one. He sideboards out all of his angels except for siguarda.

    -2 Grisly
    +2 Evil twin

    Game 2
    We race, Dimir charming mana guys keeps it fair in my side I lose cavern of souls(angel) to siguarda.

    Game 3
    Very grindy match he lands siguarda turn 12ish, I evil twin it next turn, and then seer afterwards. He has no caverns i have a messenger with rancor, and spell rupture will very well be a card once caverns go's away, Mana leaking thraggletusk for 6 when he really needed it made him lose it. He flips a second siguarda off my seer trigger putting him at 1 he concedes.

    *Note I don't own bob's so I haven't played them in modern, during this match because he's my friend I received a trigger warning from Seer, and forgot to draw at least 2 cards at 2 draw steps during game 2. No I'm not a terrible player just to caught up to be methodical against my friend/rival He's my Gary fukin Oak*

    9;6-1

    Match 4
    Bant "Aggro"-Delver,Snapcaster,Geist, token producers and Rootborn ect.

    Game 1
    He double delvers and draws lands for 5 turns dies to very basic aggro package i showed him none of my tricks.

    -1 Messenger
    -3 Rupture
    +2 GolCharm
    +2 Dispel

    Game 2
    I pull my charm and two usable lands in opening hand, he drops delver on one, i drop dire, no flip delver on two swing for one, wood cem i swing back for 2 and pass, he looks at me very funny and triggers the delvers, i charm in response. he plays a giest and passes, i play seer and do not attack, he chooses not to trade, draws passes, seer trigger, land me rootborn him. i rancor messenger and alpha strike hes forced to block geist into dire and its downhill from there.

    I have no idea how hes 4-0 in swiss but i guess his natural flips were better earlier that day but when zombies wants to race we win cause we have tramplers. Turns out later that day I talk to him his sideboard was mostly transformational into the turbo fog deck. He should have boarded the tranform, it would have totally screwed my sideboard and my whole plan in general, as I don't have skullcrap in my colors.

    Match 5
    Orzhov Zombies.
    Game 1 Caverns on zombies, Caverns on Counciler, loose to obezdat.

    -3 ruptures
    -1 simic charm
    -1 Abrupt decay
    +3 DRS
    +2 Witchbane Orbs

    Game 2
    Super grindy, Deathrite eats his way to a win, he doesn't play obezdat because he didn't have a cavern, not thinking i'd board out counters, I wasn't thinking about his colors and didn't see it before lingering souls is in that deck.

    Game 3
    Dire, into Lol troll just throwing 2xDRS into troll to trade profitable dire block, drop witchbane orb (shuts down messenger/obez triggers) he casts bothsides of two lingerings so i can't eat them, plays obez and blinks him, turn 12ish with 2 min in he alpha's as he dies next turn and i golgari charm and block obez with rancord undead messenger. eat my charm and top deck a mangler. GG.

    I liked this deck, I do not understand why seer is not seeing play hes very aggressive and you have to use him as a burn, I never sided him out even in the prematches vs. naya blitz and rdw. Aggro is really easy for this deck as they have a problem with efficient creatures/flyers and rancored guys. Their was two junk players, I did not play them they ended up around 14ish together their last swiss round was mirror. I'm pretty sure that like 4 months ago its being hated out of the format by just maindeck/sideboard hate at big tournments, and very good aggro at LGSs. My changes of this deck for next week

    It's mostly a spell package change, Dimir charms are very good for the earily and better with seer triggers, salvage while helpful sometimes (for landdrops, crawlers,snap targets), is mediocre, and gets boarded out alot. We aren't a midrange deck but we are a whose the beat down deck so if you have a hard time figuring out who/when to beat down, you should find a different deck. It was really fun to play and mangler is a hell of a card. Memory's journey was cute and I would probably run it in a larger tournment but when theres only 20 to 40 ppl DRS and the pressure/seer is enough for smaller venues.

    Caverns is on Zombies and Wizards its actually really nice.

    Pithing and witchbane shuts down jund and esper, Mem and DRS for reani (DRS is actually really good with grisley, I kinda want to MD him), Evil is a good card vs big value midrange, 4 damage vs 7 dmg for an AoS that kills AoS is good.

    This deck started as a way to make duskmantle useful, and i like a few of the other interactions like grisly into a snapcaster into a rupture revealed with grisley. Everyone tells me to cut dimir charm but it can do alot of stuff, I think its a very undervalued charm, (Counter - Rakdos return, term, bonfire, souls ect.; Kill - Mana guys, Mayors; Deal alot of damage if seer is out). Imagine I have seer out and dimir them EOT and put AoS ontop of there lib I take at most 4 they take 7 and swing

    So I'm putting together a Back to the future cube, Ravnica edition but I did not draft the first ravnica block, I'm wondering if I can get some imput on the decent playable limited commons and uncommons, I've looked over the block and I think I hit most of the decent ones or the ones that interact well with the new faces of the ravnica guilds, turns out evolve and graft are really good together. So any info on old chase uncommons and commons would be sweet.

    Photoshop is easier to learn and manipulate, if you can get ahold of a copy it would be easier. Looks good for a first start, keep working

    I'm currently building an full art singleton back to the future ravnica cube and even though I've bypassed them for standard play, the art on the guildgates are spectacular and they are good lands for a limited setting.

    CGHub Alot of good portrait work.

    Google Image search You can sometimes get lucky.

    If you go to personal sites of the people who do the art for actual wizards cards they have alot of great art on them that are not wotc works.

    I'm not saying your wrong because each person has their own tastes but why do you prefer the fade to black boarders I've always been curious about that choice? Alot of the art choices are right on target and look very good.
