I compiled the matchups and results for the Pro Tour list by round. I noted the opponent's deck (if known) and record in modern.

    R4 - L (1-2), Jiachen Tao (9-1; UR Eldrazi)
    R5 - W (2-1), Colton Abrams (5-5; unknown)
    R6 - W (2-1), Omar Beldon (4-6; unknown)
    R7 - L (0-2), Huey Jensen (7-3; infect)
    R8 - W (2-0), Thiago Saporito (6-4; Colorless Eldrazi)
    R12 - W (2-1), Scott Lipp (7-3; RG Breachshift)
    R13 - L (0-2), Oliver Polak-Rothman (7-3; Infect)
    R14 - W (2-0), Martin Clement (4-6; unknown)
    R15 - L (0-2), Grzegorz Kowalski (7-3; Grixis Delver)
    R16 - W (2-1), Shota Takao (6-4; Burning-Tree Zoo)

So his opponents were a combined 62-38 in the modern portion of the tournament. I'm not surprised that he struggled with infect, as I never seem to have much luck with that matchup either. 1-1 against our new Eldrazi overlords.

I took my monowhite list to my first IQ last night. 3-0-2 and third seed after the swiss. Lost in the Top 8.

Round 1 (Grixis Twin) 1-0; 2-1 - I have a reasonable opening hand and keep. T1 Militant looks great when he opens with Serum Visions. Opponent is taking a bunch of damage off his lands, and my T1 Militant keeps pecking away despite his remands keeping me off my second threat. On my turn 5 my opponent passes with 4 open mana. I run out Thalia and when it isn't countered I expect the combo to be coming. I have no removal, so I drop Arbiter and hope his fifth land is a fetch. It isn't and I die. Game 2 I open on Vial to mess with his permission, but he blows up my Vial and a bear with KCommand and things looks bleak. T4 he hasn't assembled the combo and my double tech edge on T5 sets him way back. He then gets surprised when I drop Arbiter and Ghost quarter his last red source. He top decks no lands for a while and some bears get there. Game 3 is much the same as G2, Arbiter comes down early and Ghost Quarter wrecks his mana. Overall was fortunate to draw so much land destruction and to see Grixis instead of UR.

Round 2 (UR Storm) 2-0; 2-1 - I'm on the play and have a great 7. I win the die roll, which becomes crucial when opponent goes T1 Sleight of Hand into T2 Pyromancer Ascension and reveals he's not playing fair. I curve Anafenza into Arbiter into Spirit of the Labyrinth. He tries to go off but can't draw anything due to Spirit and we head to Game 2. Game 2 I mulligan a 5 land hand into a no-land hand. My 5 is good but when he plays Electromancer on T2 I have to choose between Path and Arbiter. I lay Arbiter hoping he will miss a land drop and buy me time to path the Electromancer without ramping. He doesn't and goes off for a million. Game 3 is extremely close and drawn out. I have a good aggro start and take a chunk out of his life total with a Spirit of the Labyrinth. He waits a turn too long to bolt Spirit and then makes 14 Goblins via Empty the Warrens. My board can race those Goblins, but he Grapeshots for 2 to kill both my Blade Splicers and keeps it close. On the final turn he leaves back only 2 Goblins to block and my vialed in Flickerwisp removes one and guarantees lethal even if his last card is Bolt.

    Round 3 (Scapeshift) 3-0; 2-0
    - I keep and land destruction heavy hand with Arbiter and he plays T1 Valakut tapped. Understandably this one isn't close. I keep Paths in because he never had time G1 to show me a blue mana source, so I thought he might be on the GP TitanShift list. I fan my opener to see Vial, Militant, Arbiter, and 2 Tec Edges. On T4 I lay the second tec edge and double kill his red sources. He pays a new one and I topdeck Ghost quarter to remove it as well. He plays a couple Snapcasters as Ambush Vipers but never makes any progress. I path the final Snap to press through lethal. I think the matchup is only so-so, but I was never losing with those hands.

    Round 4 and Round 5 ID 3-0-2

Top 8 (Living Twin) 1-2 - I keep a great 7 on the play thanks to higher seeding. T2 Arbiter --> T3 Wingmare ---> T4 Thalia + Spirit of the Labyrinth makes his life very difficult and I get there with land destruction and 2/2s. Post board I think I'm favored, but it doesn't work out. Game 2 I mulligan and have a sketchy 6 card hand that leans on Thalia. He Shriekmaws away Thalia and Living Ends a couple turns later, it's academic from there, but he kills via Twin/Exarch. Game 3 I have a great hand and again put Thalia and Wingmare together. I have great pressure and am getting there but he flashes in Exarch and we both have to start doing math. He would need either land + Simian Spirit Guide or 2 Guides to Twin me, so I get a greedy and don't tec edge wanting to take him off a color once I see what he fetches. He calls a judge away from the table and I assume he's finding out that both the cascade spell and Living End have to pay the tax (which he can't) and figure I've done it. He comes back and has a different line, dropping a land and playing his 1-of Kiki Jiki. I had path mana but no path and die to a million Faeries. Had I not gotten greedy with Edge I could have won, but overall it was an excellent match.

I found Anafenza to be alright, but boarded her out against the unfair decks. I'm unsure about her spot going forward. Spirit of the Labyrinth was great today given my matchups and I like him as a 2-of. The last time I played here the meta was much more aggro, which lead to a lot of wasted spots in the board on Firewalkers. I would probably shave one for something else for unfair decks. Full decklist below for the curious.

Here's my plains. It looks sweet in foil and really sets off my favorite purple sleeves.

I'm loving my monowhite deck in the MTGO meta. Just eats the shorts of Burn and Grixis. I've started two leagues 3-0, but finished both runs 3-2. I felt like I had reasonable matchups when I did lose (except for one Soul Sisters deck)

I like Stoke in Remand heavy metas, especially slow decks like UWR/Scapeshift. It's only a SB card for me because it's a bit too slow in lots of matchups.

I played Mardu Scout for a while, but I can't see any room for him in the R/G Atarka Goblins list. If I wanted the effect I could already splash black for Spike Jester. I don't think the list benefits much from either. In monored, I played Mardu Scout until Piledriver was reprinted. I like Scout better against some decks like UW but prefer Piledriver in an unknown meta.

Last night I ran this. It needs at least one more fetch, preferably two. Stoke the Flames was better when Remand was more prevalent and against UWR, which were both overrepresented in my meta. Now all the old UWR players are on Grixis and the matchup is much better.

Ran R/G no-lord Goblins at FNM last night. Here's the recap.

    Match 1 - Burn.
Game 1 - We both keep a one-lander (my is a 6 card hand) and I topdeck Copperline Gorge to have both my colors. He doesn't find a second land until T5 and it's too late by then.
Game 2 - I have a mediocre 7 and he goes Swiftspear -> Kor Firewalker -> Lavamancer and I never had a chance
Game 3 - I'm holding a perfect 7. Denizen into double Goblin Guide with two bolts and two lands with Copperline Gorge for my green source to limit the pain from my lands. With damage from his fetches and shocks he's at 9 on T2 when he resolves Kor Firewalker again. I get him ever so close to bolt range not once, but twice. Doesn't matter. Had I had a T3 Atarka's Command I would have won on the spot. So close.

    Match 2 - Ad Nauseum.
Game 1 - He plays some scry lands and some sleight of hands. I play 2 Goblin Grenade on T3.
Game 2 - He keeps a one lander and watches as Goblin Guide gives him a preview of his non-land draw for 4 turns in a row. When he does find land number two he shows he had an extremely fast draw had he hit the land. Destructive Revelry on his Pentad Prism ends it.

    Match 3 - B/W Tokens
Game 1 - The guy is new to the deck and doesn't have all his Spectral Processions yet. He substituted Timely Reinforcements maindeck. And played 2 in G1. Ouch.
Game 2 - I mulled to 6 and had a mediocre hand. My Destructive Revelry handled the first Intangible Virtue but I had no answer for the second. Another Timely Reinforcements sealed the deal. Never saw a Legion Loyalist in either game. Oh well, definitely a terrible matchup anyway.

    Match 4 - R/G aggro
Game 1 - I'm not quite sure what is happening when he plays Violent outburst into Burning-Tree Emissary into Viashino Slaughtermaster. I build up a board state and use Piledriver + Loyalist to trample over for 8 damage and finish with a grenade.
Game 2 - I have lots of tokens but no payoff. He hardcasts Ghor-Clan Rampagers, but keeps them as blockers. Viashino Slaughtermaster gets a Colossal Might and it's on to Game 3.
Game 3 - He floods out and I've got a great hand. Grenade provides the finish.

Summary: Finished 2-2. I liked my deck a lot, and I'm especially excited for the Vancouver Mulligan change, which will help dig toward a second land after mulligans. I never resolved an Atarka's Command all night, but it was a card I was hoping to draw in several situations. This deck now feels much more powerful than my old Goblin Chieftain monored list.

Goblins will always be at a disadvantage against Electrolyze. The deck was miserable in the TC metagame because everyone was packing Electrolyze and Forked Bolt and Anger of the Gods to fight UR/Delver. Now in the heavy Grixis/Terminate/Kolaghan's Command metagame, decks are much slower and there are far fewer Electrolyzes running around, which gives us room to operate.

I've come around to the G/R version after playing mono-red for years now. A week of testing with Atarka's command has convinced me: That card is bonkers in this deck. The +1/+1 mode makes Command a "Lord" as well as a burn spell / anti-lifegain tech in this deck. I attacked an opponent last night with 4 1/1s while he was on 14 and feeling quite safe. He declared no blocks, which let command do 7 damage and I had the bolt to finish him on the spot. It's worth the hassle of the manabase and i'm 3-0 in matches against Naya Burn, so the pain from the manabase hasn't ruined the burn matchup the way I'd feared it would.

Thats the most sensible response to the re-print i've seen! Great summary of the state of Modern Goblins

I'm goldfishing and the Piledriver hands are really fantastic. It feels like a clock that's almost a full turn faster against non-interactive decks. Obviously Loyalist + Piledriver is glorious.

I still think that the splashes aren't any better than monored, and Piledriver doesn't change my plan to go wide. So currently I'm running this maindeck:

I'm definitely looking for an opportunity to shave a few lands and lower the curve even further. Maybe -1 Animosity, -1 Mountain, +2 Krenko's Command. I'm not willing to run the colorless lands (Mutavault and Cavern) because an 18 land deck with colorless lands can't play Shattering Spree or Searing Blood anymore.

I'm jamming test games with 4 Piledrivers in Modern Goblins right now. Piledriver + Legion Loyalist is a thing of beauty!

Mono-U Tron isn't a deck I encounter very often, so I don't even know the matchup very well. I doubt Goblin Assault is good there since one Wurmcoil is game over. I'd probably bring in the Stokes and Shattering Spree and take out the Animosities and Chieftains and try to burn them out before they can gain life. But again, it's not a match up I've played more than maybe twice, so that might be the wrong approach

20 lands has been alright to me. I feel like I've found a balance between keeping too many one-landers and flooding out too much. I definitely wouldn't run any more than 20, and I do think about trimming one from time to time. I do sometimes sideboard one land out on the draw.

    As for the sideboard:
Electrickery is for any deck running Delver + Pyromancer. It also can come in against Bogles and Tokens, though in both cases it has a narrow window to be impactful in those match ups. Need to test against Collected Elves to see if it's good in that matchup.

Goblin Assault is for any Electrolyze control deck, UWR, Grixis, and Twin (which typically gets more control in post board). Let's me continually put up pressure in those long matches.

Rending Volley is for twin or any Restoration Angel deck.

Everlasting Torment is a silver bullet against Unwinnable matches like Soul Sisters. Could do Leyline of Punishment instead. Havent tested enough against Abzhan company to know if I should run it there.

Searing Blood is for affinity, zoo, Delver, any Collected Company deck. It's really good right now (and a big argument against Cavern in the mana base.

Shattering Spree against affinity is the best reason to run no Caverns

Stoke the Flames is more burn for the Jund match ups and a replacement for Goblin Grenade against Remand decks

Tormod's crypt is a silver bullet against Dredgevine, Loam Pox, and Living End. I wanted Crypt instead of Relic of
Progenitus because I felt that in a racing deck like ours, we didn't have time to leave up lands to pop Relic
