The End of an Era

As soon as I left this page it happened again! Advil and Kaiser Permanente are both autoplay ads with audio, both drag my browser to the bottom of the screen and wont let me scroll up until the ad is over, and both try to track my physical location.

I'm not a fan of being MADE TO DO anything, let alone watch some BS add so Curse can make money with no regard to the people who have been loyal to this site for years. These things need to be addressed.

This site has gotten pretty terrible pretty fast since Curse took over, it's very disappointing. I understand they are a business and need to monetize the site, but I have NEVER been so frustrated by a legitimate site such as this by their advertising. YOU MAKE THE RULES FOR YOUR ADVERTISERS CURSE, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. GET YOUR (EXPLETIVE DELETED) TOGETHER! Please.

    Sorry for ranting.

I agree all of the autoplaying audio ads are very frustrating, not to mention videos constantly being loaded on page makes load times terrible with me internet for any trade thread or forum I try to view.

However, the reason I came here is to report the Advil ad and there are a couple of others (not sure exactly will pay more attention next time) EVERY time these ads start, it AUTOSCROLLS my screen to view said ad and I get a notification from my web browser that MTGS want's to track my physical location and asks for the permission to do so.

Why would MTGS EVER need to track my physical location? If this is the doing of MTGS or is in fact an Ad attempting to track my physical location this needs to be taken care of. As far as I am concerned it is a malicious invasion of privacy and it needs to stop. Now.
