I can’t make up my mind about which is better, MC or MU.
If you ask me a different day, my answer will be different.
I am playing games both on MC and in a separate community on MU. I have the idea that MC being small actually will work against keeping our own identity because it will turn into a merge automatically. While MU is so large that being a separate entity seems to actually work. With some influx from the main site. At least that is what I see happening with CfC there.
MC in general is the nicer community though so if we do end up getting swallowed up, I prefer having that there over MU bigtime.
And it has Osie.
(Although Thingyman is yummie eye candy - almost as cute as Sloth)
MU has a subforum “partner communities” where you get your own subforum. In there we can organise our own games.
Civilisation Fanatics Centre is a good example of a community that moved there for who that works well, with an influx of new players.
They also still use their homesite for some of the games they host for raisins.
You are everywhere, hosting and playing and reviewing games accross multiple communities. What is the last game here you didn't either host or review? It's a wonder it took you so long to burn out. You deserve a break after all this hard work.
ZDS, why did you go Rhand over me? I thought that's what you were gearing towards?
Like I told Grape, I had to be sure I was voting scum.
It was a tough choice: between the two of you, Rhand was better at acting town in a vacuum while you were better at arguing and playing the part of the offended townie. What tipped the scale was Rhand triggering the irrational hatred of players who string up multiple posts after a catch-up/re-read that I apparently now have .
Haha I actually don’t like it either, but playing on mobile it’s just not doable to prepare a wall instead.
I agree, I was thinking I should soften my style. Turn more towards teamwork and less towards solo-solving/gravedigging.
I think this mainly goes for Day 1. Actually identifying mafia on Day 1 is rare, and overconfidently burying someone then looks like you’re operating from a non-town mindset.
I don’t know how much experience they have, but that game wasn’t their first either.
@Terraine: Is making a wrong assumption alignment-telling?
@ZDS: Is mafia coaching town a thing?
The Flemish g is a bit softer than the Dutch one.
Won’t bother you though because when you’re around this cat only purrs. With our rolling rrrr.
so eh where is ZDS? We need the French guy in here to come and end RVS.
Pocket accepted lol
I pronounce it even differently, but the g sound from my language doesn’t exist in English so I can’t give examples
Sloth is forever young. Don’t say such things about him.
vote Killjoy
@ZDS you got actual reads out of all that gif stuf??
Are you really?

I will follow whatever we decide.

MC can offer us something similar.
