Holy mother of cats this is hands down the best primer I've read here. Thank you for all of your work on the deck, explaining your card choices, and giving me a great overview of this commander. When I first cobbled together my Wrexial deck, it was basically UB goodstuff. I'm in the process of rebuilding now.
Hey guys I've been running a version similar to pardee's list for a while but don't think I ever really got the hang of side boarding in certain matchups (fear of diluting the deck i guess by putting in to many cards)
I'm playing the gp kc list now , and am wondering if anyone has a detailed sideboard guide for the deck (for affinity, scapeshift, tron etc) Sam pardee's last article and the Melira pod primer really don't have a detailed sideboard plan, even if someone knos where a plan for pardee's list would help a great deal

A sideboarding guide was just posted that should do you some good. Manfield hasn't had a chance to write an article yet since we're under 24 hours of him winning the damn thing in the first place. Far as I can tell he doesn't write for anyone yet, so be on the lookout with the usual big boys in articles to see if they pick him up for one.
My students are required to have Adobe CS and right now they can subscribe for $20 a month. For a 6 week class that's $40, which to me is neglible. But they still fight me about it... Some fail the class that cost hundreds because they feel that PHotoShop should be free since it has been for so many people. It gets interesting when looking at my work copy - the school provides me with that, but if they have to pat for individual subscriptions there is talk that they will cut that.
There is zero chance Adobe will force educational users to pay full retail for their subscriptions. They'll go the way of most enterprise pricing and give educational institutions a blanket license based on the number of seats. They're likely getting a similar deal now.

Nope. Here are screenshots of your quoted post, first with signatures shown and then with signatures hidden. Unless you somehow removed your signature in the 22 seconds between screenshots, the message continues to show up on every post for every user (except myself) across the forums. In the referenced screenshot from yesterday, Glimyrpost has a signature. I suppose it could have been added in the intervening time, however.

Artwork, it's huge. The mods delete spam rather than warn/infract, so most people may not realize when looking through all those pages of lovely artwork, but, yeah, ++ central. Ideally this gives the thankers an out & the people sharing awesomeness with us get the credit coming their way.
If you hide signatures (or turn them off), you won't see this (it gets hidden with the sigs). Unless the user doesn't have a sig, unfortunately.

It's just making nice. Implemented as a way to allow users to express gratitude and also possibly cut back on spam (no need to quote a post "^^^this" anymore et cetera).
Was this actually an issue anywhere? I rarely saw posts like that and most were quickly reprimanded. Now I've got a bunch of "Hey! Like this!" or a useless list of users who clicked the link on every post. I'd argue that this has increased the spam (read: useless chaff text) on the forums. Not a fan at all.
How often does this thread get updated? Coming up on 60 days since the last update -- not sure if the meta currently requires an update to this thread, just curious as to the general philosophy here.
You may be interested in checking out how MTGO Block Constructed is going. Note that AVR is not yet released for MTGO, so these decks are still ISD/DKA only. However they'll give you a decent deck for a low cost that (for the most part) won't be terrible in paper Magic.
mtgo-stats is my favorite place for checking decklists. The archetypes for Block are wonky but keep in mind the site is 100% automated, it won't sort everything correctly. Easy to pick out what you're looking for.

The "Multicolored get X" are nice utility cards but I think will require specific builds. Not auto-includes like the Primordials.
