Yeah, i'm extremely interested in watching all the match ups, but most of all Mugenkira & CogitoErgoSum, as the winner of that match is my opponent.
Now the other thing i have been thinking about and am worried about..
It says to set up the room open to all spectators(as long as they know the password) and for spectators to be able to see everything, including hands. So what is preventing competitors from having an anonymous friend relaying his opponents cards in hand?
For example, if im playing tempo and t1 i have a Delver and Thoughtsieze in hand but don't know what to play. Once my anonymous friend lets me know im playing against combo and he isn't about to go off anytime soon, and doesn't have any removal, ill know to play Delver and not Thoughtseize. Now that's just an example, but the point is, this current format seems pretty conducive to cheating..

I mean, I think I might have a chance. I'v been playing with the deck pretty often and it can be pretty tight. Then I get to go to the invitational and win 30 bucks for CFB. Yay! One IRL True-Name!

Regarding Starter deck:
First of all, the answer is "yes".
It is a good starter deck.
Maeltne's reasons why and show a way to "build on a budget".
Price changes are always a given but the price is the reason why the deck
is a good start. Also you learn more about combo.
If you want other "starter" options, send a PM, I will glady point the way.
Also the net material about this deck is rather well rounded since this deck
was/ is one of the dark horses.
2008 was the year of Elves! (They crushed all but a few decks in Berlin that year) and it has only gotten stronger since then.
Please note that I beg to differ between "inferior" combo solutions and
more complex ones (though beginners should avoid Mirror Entity in my
option, too, due to nuances in playing them).
Regarding Unknown meta:
Entering an unknown meta with a combo deck is always a risk.
I can only hope that the player knows his deck quiet well and therefor
knows the nuances of his deck.
If you want to scout a meta, this deck is really nice since Aggro/ Combo
usually has a good chance of beating the fair decks.
Sidenote
One thing I want to point out (it's just logical after Maeltne's reasoning):
If you like the "style and optics" of Elves, go and check NO Elves and Aggro Elves also. Several of the card choices can be incorporated into the deck, too.
The gameplans are different but the extension of the card pool is actually
cheap (and yes, I consider Natural Order cheap by comparison).

The staples you need for that deck are NO (clearly) and Wasteland (if you dont run these you wil loose most games)
Meh the price of elves is now closer to about 125 glimpse is now 60-80 for play set gsz is 30ish and all the other dorks but still very cheap an efficient deck the thing is running mono green with ezuri is no where near as good as mirror entity
I am just gonna put this as a quick comment but i do beleive this deck is not really pulling its weight. It is just way to prone to disruption (fow and all that fun stuff) and bolts/swords so personally I have stopped playing this deck and I am trying diffrent decks out that are better for this current top deck meta.
