Noticed this card during a "Standard Sealed" challenge at Grand Prix Kobe and it work incredibly good with phyrexian mana spells being able to dash out 12 damage easy when your opponent didn't have anything to respond to it.
Now this was sealed yes, but with alot of flash back spells and draw like Gitaxian Probe I can see this do wonders.

With a Grand Prix comming up where the format aint Standard my fingers are iching for a fancy rogue..ish deck. Well, not exactly what people expect anyways!
Having the base of a random Delver, we step away from the insect dude. And give his weapon to the artifacts.

The deck is very straight forward, tempo with no spells having more than 2cmc (except for Dismember). Wont go to deep into every card.

Why splash black without any of the proper spells you might ask?
And the answer is purely to be able to cast up to 6 Dismembers in one game without killing myself. I've found this card extremely usefull, but you are often to scared to use it. Casting Vault Skirge without paying life is also nice.
Thou because I want to squeeze in the Moorland Haunt, having more Darkslick Shores would make the risk of having your 4th land comming in tapped too big(in my opinion the most important land drop for the deck).

Vault Skirge over Delver? Not sure, but testing says yes. He's amazing with pike and Spellskite to protect it when counters fail (Spellskite is for pure protection aswell as a decent body. Perfect against RDW and master of stealing buffs such as wolf run. Goes in the MB but is sided out fast)

SB is still under construction. Flash Freeze, Steel Sabotage, Mental Misstep, Delver of Secrets, Disperse maybe Hovermyr, Porcelain Legionnaire, but even Apostle's Blessing and Surgical Extraction have got their share of the cake. Tested swords, would have prefered a pike 90%.

    Sorry for just rambling on!
Please feel free to leave and opinion, advise or complain!
    Thanks

(Ah yeah, tested mainly against established humans, RG ramp and B/R vamp)

Ah I see, thanks for the fast answers!

Players no longer receive priority between combat damage assignment and combat damage being dealt.

Interesting, so lets say I block with 2 creatures against something that would only be able to kill one of them. In that case I can not react after my opponent decides how to divide his damage? For example, throwing Undying Evil on the one that would die after he calls it out.

A quick question as I'm new to magic!

Read somewhere that combat damage does not go on the stack (might have been a change in rulings or something not true at all)

So what I wonder is if a blocker is assigned and then sac'ed, does the combat damage now go to the player or is the creature still considered as "blocked"?
If combat damage was on the stack I would imagine that after the defending creature gets sac'ed the damage now targets an illigal target and fades?

    Thanks!
