That's what I say , is close enough to duels and we have notice that cards like mind twist really ruin one side games specially being black and using tutors for it .
And the problem with the suggestion of banning cards as we see problems is that we are really competetive and some players think is not fair to ban theyr winning card so that's. Why I want a l "oficial" list , but was told to get the forums opinions if we had to use the french list or we couls still play with the multiplayer one and the format would not be broken in duels
Hi , we have a problem in my playgroup , we play 2vs2 two headed giant and the problem is we can't decide if we should use the french banlist? Or stick with the official one because there are a lot of games with turn 3-4 mind twists that simply end the game for one side and other plays like that.....
So what do you think we should do? Is the french list the closest to oficial for duels?
Ohh and one more thing , one of the players says 2vs2 THG is not considered a duel.... what is it then?

Playing 2vs2 would make things worst because you would be a bigger threat having an ally and even he would get mad for winning that way , it has happened to me and the result is tunning your deck to play against just that one deck (I don't know why they haven't done it).

The sunforger , I said the same but everyone was like USE IT!!.
I play duels so the meta is diferent but I think you should consider it your burn will be twice as hot son no one should be attacking rigth? I killed with it in one of the three games I played the other day.
And have you consider the titans? They are strong and with sun titan you can recuur most of your artifacts.

I think you can't play cristal shard because of the blue mana simbol in the card.
You have a lot of artifacts you should use buried ruin and I see you want to combo with pharias shield and the doll? Why not run some tutors like enlightened tutor?.
The coalhauler , there's a red white hibryd I think that does the same but to target player look it up.
Why not run furnace of rath, inferno, repercucion , I think this would work great because sou plan on not having a lot of creatures of your own rigth?
I think you will need ench/artifact removal.
Instead of wheel of fate how about reforge the soul? Or both (this colors lack card draw) and considermind's eye too.
Everybody almost killed me when they saw I did not run sunforger and that reminds me , you should use white stapple' like sword to plowshare and path to exile for bigger creatures.
And let me know how it goes with chandra ablaze I wanted to run her but I tought her first ability was very limited to monored and did not like the card disadvantage.

That's rigth , you got to get her down like two times and you won't see her again , you can try things like prison term , faith feathers.
I play against a kaalia deck too and avacyn got her GREAT cards but what I hate the most its when she mind twists me or uses that W/B spell that removes your hand and grave from the game!!!
On serious note; i split the deck in halves. Shuffle both halves like normally. Once or twice I split both halves each in half again and mix two quarters together. In the end I merge the two halves together.

I'm from tijuana and looking for edh players in the local area , we are a group of 4-5 players that gather on the weekends , we have a great time but I feel that we always know to much about each others strategies and styles of play and would really like to experiance playing unknown opponents.
So if you are from tijuana or know someone , you are welcome to join us or maybe invite us to your group for a friendly game.
