Look awesome
Hit for 6, heal for 6 and then draw 2 cards is a nice win condition ^^
Nice to see anothe doublestriker, second in the block so far, right?
Please remember to discuss the card in regards to Standard. Spam warning issued.

Love this card, and will definitely use it for my standard deck when I get my hands on it
I'm not playing competetive though.
One thing that comes to my mind is that one could exploit Tree of Redemption somehow. Give it a minor enchant and use twisted image. Then next turn hop back to your normal health. You would have to be able to defend yourself for one round, but this idea could be fun to test out if it's possible to make a Fateful Hour deck
Going kind of offtopic here, but would Adaptive Automaton add a counter to Champion of the Parish? You choose a type when he enters, so what happens first between him becoming human and parish checking his creature type?
Champion is really expensive though
My deck is going a bit better now though, I drafted GW humans last night, so I got 2 hamlet captains and a Mayor of Avabruck
This is what it currently looks like: (My goal is to have it ready for the DKA standard tournament in february)
Second off, if someone says something negative, don't take it as someone being mean, people try to help, but as everyone knows, most Magic players lack social skills.
Third, there is a budget subforum that is part of this, the people in there are full of knowledge on how to help, and I am saying this just hoping that you don't get in trouble.
EDIT: Nath'd Sene!
First, you will need far more lands, 24 is probably the right number. Also, your deck only has 40 cards, minimum for standard is 60, but I assume you have done a lot of draft, which is 40.
Cards to look for, all depends on what you are doing. Mirran Crusader is pretty good. Angelic Destiny is too. Check out the U/W humans thread and gather some ideas from there of the good white cards to use, then trek your way over to the G/W Tokens and see some of the decent green ones.
4 Oblivion rings is the right number. Bonds of Faith isn't that good, however, if you are playing on a budget, it is understandable.
Midnight Haunting is really good against control. I would recommend it, especially if you are trying to get a lot of +1/+1 counters on things.
Again, welcome! And remember, if people are critical, don't take it too hard. People's internet muscles' are always bigger than there real life ones.
Thanks!
It's true that I've drafted quite a lot, just Innistrad though. Will try to draft g/w Human next time for some additions
Checked some G/W and U/W decklists, and I definitely know what to look for next time I head down to Outland (Local Magic place)
Hey
I've been playing Magic for 3-4 months now, and I've just played casually, using whatever cards I get my hands on. I want to narrow it down and make a standard deck. Eventhough most of my cards are standard, I want to create a deck with more synergy and I think standard looks fitting for me. (Since I'm missing 15 years of experience it's easier to read up on the latest)
I currently play a zombiedeck with some endless ranks of the dead, parallel lives and loads of black zombies, and a human equipment deck with some cheap humans, loads of equipment and 4 Brass Squires.
I played some Magic online (On Cockatrice) and the deck I loved the most there was a G/W Human aggro deck, and I think I want to create something similiar with what I have there.
I want to add more Avacyn's Pilgrims, Travel Preperations and another Gavony Township. Those shouldn't be hard to get.
Other cards I'd like to add:
Mikaeus the Lunarch
Champion of the Parish (More than one hopefully)
Hamlet Captain
Mirran Crusader
Mentor of the Meek
Does this seem like a functional lowbudget standard deck?
Any other cards I should look for? Both rare and commons
Does it need more removal or control? The o-rings are the only thing that can handle noncreature permanents.
Should I include more instants/sorceries? Anything specific?
Elvish Archdruid and llanowar elves, maybe copperhorn scout.
elvish archdruid can give you loads of mana, but I guess they're easy to remove :/
So many nice combos with these undying/graveyard casting stuff
Ludde
Champion of Paris
