Not quite unrelated, at the prerelease I went to, every all but one decks I played had some sort of u/w humans/spirits thing going. I was one of those people (but when your sealed packs include Moorland Haunt and Intangible Virtue, what choice do you really have).
I think that standard has shifted really into U/W, and the new artifact has solidified that. Just one more reason I don't play standard.

I've been looking through recent decklists on MTGGoldfish - is Dread Returning for a FKZ or Flayer not seen anymore? I don't think I saw any in winning decks from the past few months.
I have two questions about this circumstance. Why was LSV able to target the True Name Nemesis with the Cryptic Command? Was it because, while in exile, the card was the opponents? Second, assuming that LSV's opponent had not countered the Cryptic Command, would the card fail to resolve because upon resolution, True Name Nemesis is an illegal target? And was it an illegal target in the first place?
Although I don't know LSV personally, the way I've seen him conduct himself makes it hard to believe that he meant that comment to be snarky.
Of course, the snarky response is how I probably would have meant if I had been asked, because it's foolish for various reasons I have stated previously and you have in your posts.
I get that financial considerations are different in other countries. I still think that it's irresponsible to be so invested in and have no backup plan for a "job" where you aren't employed and the market can, has, and will change at any given moment at the whims of a company that has historically made changes to prevent people like you from making major profit off of them.

That being said, entwining yourself in MTGO seems to be just asking for problems because they can and will change the rules at a moment's notice, and could even pull the plug when they feel like it. In my opinion, it's a bad idea to revolve your life around a volatile market.
Were that many people really making a living doing dailies?
Even better is when you both are on your laptops in separate events (of course) right next to each other laughing and talking.
