How are it's match-ups? Is Sui Black worth running an enviroment full of Welders and small 1/1 weenies? Does Chalice of the Void really make the deck competitive?
Trinisphere defeats the whole purpose of the deck. Everything costs B, BB, or B w/Dark Ritual. You don't want to have to pay all that extra mana after dropping a 3sphere, would you? Chalice is better here, but to what extent, Stax hasn't said.
I would say Chalice still holds it's own pretty well. Admittedly, the Fish field brings some pain, but a well played Chalice, IMO, can play pretty decently still. Plus, I'm looking for more general help on the deck, be it SUPER playable or not.
As for Trini, yeah... Defeats this deck's purpose, which is to restrict play while dodging around said restrictions itself.
My suggestion? Necro. And Bagain. Necro is the king of all black cards. You need Necro. Bargain acts a second Necro. I've heard two necros is pretty damn good these days.
Personally, I don't like the Negators so much. I mean, yeah, they're beat machines.... but they're costly beat machines. How about something like Lurking Evil, or possibly the ol' original, Juzam Djinn? The Evil is nice because he flies and is a 4/4 body, and Juzam is just old school. Gotta respect the old school.
the biuld doesnt look bad, i could sugest some alternate game win plan (such as a currupt) in case that the initial ounslought doesnt win. also some engeneered plagues in the sideboard (awsome agains goblins/kobhold klamp decks)
First Question: Why does everybody suddenly think Kobold Clamp is a viable deck? Oath laughs, forces the Glimpse, then beats you down with a 6-power creature. Workshop powers out a turn one Trin, which completely, totally, utterly rapes this deck.
Anyway, about the deck, Sui Black can be fun even if it's not great right now - I have a build sitting around somewhere in my house. I assume you're playing a no proxy meta, since no Lotus or Mox. I might keep the Masticores in the board, since they're not that great right now I find. Extractions are pretty good in this deck, at least boarded, and a turn two Extraction kills some decks if they can't counter - Oath comes to mind. Therapy might be good in this deck, and some Edicts maybe too, to kill Oathed up creatures, Welders and the like, as they're more flexible removal than Masticores.

Who thinks it's a viable deck. Everything you said has already been said about the deck. If you go to the kobold clamp thread I have even said, it's not that great and get's owned competitively but is fun to play. Anyway, sorry to spam your nice thread here, just was kind of curios where he got that.
About "this" deck. Myself I would keep the negator's in. But that's just imo. They've won to many games for me to not keep them in. Especially a deck not playing counters. Turn 1 your sittin' pretty with a negator, while your rapping their hand/land. I like it. I went the way of dauthi's/negator/control though. If i still had the deck I would post the list but...meh'. To long ago.
Has problems dealing with Combo, doesn't it?You have Duresses and Chalices for stopping key cards but do they do enough?I like the Discard and Land killing in this deck then the creatures.

Necro/Bargain situation. I agree, but where do I put them?
EDIT - Hey, MD Masticore and SB Negators(for pure control)?
Maybe cutting 2 Swamps? Dunno. It is a hard choice.
