I also have not been able to connect to a server for the last few hours. Keep getting the message: "There was an error retrieving a server list from the server. Attempting to use local list… There was an error retrieving a server list from the server. Try directly connect by IP.”
To reiterate, Stormyknight, does anyone know what's going on?
Is anyone temporarily using a different program to play online because I’m experiencing mtg withdrawal at the moment and need a fix?
Just realized that we can play games on lackey even when the server is down.
Steps for the hosting opponent:

3. Under game name, enter a name (or use the default name).
4. Enter a password (optional)
5. Enter the number of seats (eg. 2 for 2 players)
6. Make sure that "Use proxy server" box is not checked
7. Use "Refresh I.P". to display your I.P. write the IP and port numbers down
8. Start hosting a game by hitting the "Host a game!" button
9. Inform your opponent (by text, email, phone, etc.) about your I.P. address and Port number (usually 25710) and password (if entered on step 4).
Steps for the non-hosting opponent:
10. Start Lackey
11. Go to the “Main Menu” tab select "Join a Game by I.P." The Join a Game by IP Address Menu pops up.
12. Enter the I.P. and Port number provided to you by the hosting opponent
13. Enter password (only if a password was entered in step 4.)
14. Hit "Connect to game host by IP!"
If anyone want to play, message me and I’ll host a game.
I realize that most people know there IP address but if you don’t know your IP address and it doesn’t show up in step 5, go to the start menu on your PC, go to RUN.., type “command”, then type “ipconfig” to see your ip address.
