Phyrexian Negator is, and its reprint in the duel decks is what caused the backlash that made them close the foil loophole. Obliterator was in New Phyrexia though, nearly ten years after the last set that had the reserved list (Urza's)

Been waiting on a reprint of this since I sold my two copies long ago. Unfortunately three decent cards in the mythic/rare rarities don't automatically make me hyped for this.

Well crap, that's new phyrexia. If they are doing basically at least one card from each set in MtG history that may mean Karn Liberated is off the reprint list. That's going to be bad news for anyone wanting to get that card. On the other hand, it does mean we might see Mox Opal again after affinity basically stopped existing at this pro tour. Especially if they are making affinity one of the draft archetypes in the set, since that would give them room to reprint Arcbound Ravager.
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

If there is a grand total of 249 sets then yes Karen liberated is out.
Wonderful foil quality there. Any more curl and you could confuse it for a Pringles chip.
Good reprint. Piss poor card quality.

Well, three out of three is the best possible start... maybe more if the first revealed cards implied a very desirable cycle...
I'm going to continue to believe that they put all the most wanted cards into this release that were missing from the other Masters-sets causing them to suck and this one to be decent. If they fail their anniversary product, that's lethal blow against this product line.
For now let's just hope they continue their streak of desirable rares/mythics. It will be a while until we know whether the set overall shapes up either way.

One planeswalker spot is Jace the Mind Sculptor, so there's only one slot left for a walker and they already confirmed one card from new phyrexia. However, the one thing still in karns favor is the last reprint of him was masters 2015 and obliterator looks to be down shifted to rare. Which in a masters set is probably a mythic from a standard set, so there's that.

Phyrexian Obliterator is definately a Mythic Rare. It not only has the orange set symbol for a mythic rare, but also shows an "M" for mythic rare on the bottom left-hand of the card.

I didn't even notice that when looking at the image. The set symbol looked like the typical gold so I didn't check the label at the bottom, but you're right it's a mythic. Is that the foiling that is throwing the coloration off? I'm not big into foil collecting so I don't have any on me to compare to.

Phyrexian Negator is (though it was reprinted in Duel Decks: The Coalition v Phyrexia, and speculators revolted).
Phyrexian Obliterator is over a decade too young to be on the Reserved List. Nothing after Urza's Destiny is on the Reserved List.
Also note that Negator has a downside, but is really cheap. Like, you could dark rit into it on t1, but that would be a risky strategy due to its downside. Obliterator has is all upside (except with Pestilence-type cards) and costs more, plus you have to pay it all in black mana. But just think of what happens if your next turn you drop Gary?

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
pretty cool reprint, didn't realize it was so expensive
Its a casual players dream.
The card never really got its time in constructed, even with all the crazy upside it provides, it still lacks a lot in constructed and surprisingly dies to almost all removal that isnt lightning bolt (due to costing 4 even to Fatal Push).
The casual players that want the card pay a premium , and casual players tend to not sell the card if they have it.
----
In terms of constructed the card should be pretty much worthless.

that makes sense, I probably just ignored it due to not being played in any decks except maybe? mono black devotion in modern, which doesn't see too much play

Yea but there's no way it's not going under the orginal $9 (where it's lowest price was)
Probably $17-$23 is where it's going to sit.
It's mythic and could also could go back to original price it happened with cavern of souls despite the reprint in MM3
EDIT: scratch that it's not going to go back the ORGINAL price just got word (rumor) that masters 25 will get a similar print run to iconic masters and that's being found at Walmart and target.

The realistic "demand" in this card is so low, that theres no way it keeps the high value.
Caverns is a particular bad example, as its a card that has a very real demand in constructed decks (and easily a 4-of in these).
This one here however, is very very specific and putting just a couple thousand more copies in the system kinda "drowns" out all the demand there is for it.
----
Would be very surprised if these stay expensive (foils might still aim high for sure).
If the set contains some other high value cards it will also contribute to tank the value of all the other cards.
Probably the worst/least played black mythic in a Masters set so far.
I hope it means Mono Black Devotion/Suicide Black is a draft archetype and we get some fun/playable commons and uncommons that actually see play and are hard to get in good condition nowadays like Chainer's Edict, Culling the Weak, the Dauthi, etc.

Seems like it could be a leak, not entirely sure. But pretty confident it's real. Mythic #2 and a great choice for the set imo.
It does look sweet with that watermark though.
Also, what is the source?

Do you mean Phyrexian Negator? Obliterator is too new for RL. Only select cards from Urza's block or before are in there.

No
Azusa, Lost but Seeking is rare not mythic
So it's two
But THANK THE HEAVENS IVE BEN WAITING FOREVER FOR THIS ONE TO GET REPRINTED!
