Well you people apparently like to be spoon few the info, so I'll give you this one..this time.
I don't have all the info but my sources say that Progenitus is a 10/10 with protection from everything....yes Everything, costs and astounding WWUUBBRRGG, and returns to your library when put into the graveyard. I believe it is a mythic rare.
The hydra is XRG and if X is 5 or more, double X. It also has, 1R,remove a +1/+ 1 counter to deal 1 damage to target creature or player.
MOD EDIT: These are the current rumoured versions of the two cards:
Progenitus - WWUUBBRRGG
Legendary Creature - Hydra (M)
Protection from everything
If Progenitus would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, reveal Progenitus, and then shuffle it into its owner's library.
10/10
Apocalypse Hydra - XRG
Creature - Hydra (R)
Apocalypse Hydra comes into play with X +1/+1 counters on it. If X is 5 or more, it comes into play with twice that many +1/+1 counters on it instead. 1R, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Apocalypse Hydra: Apocalypse Hydra deals 1 damage to target creature or player.

Posts concerning the rules behind Progenitus' first ability will be deleted. It has been discussed plenty.
ProgenitusWWUUBBRRGG Legendary Creature - ??? (MR)
Protection from [how would this be worded]
When Progenitus is put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into its owner's library. (Would this be a Darksteel Colossus/Dread-style effect?)
10/10

Creature- Hydra (R)
Apocalypse Hydra comes into play with X +1/+1 counters on it. If X is 5 or more, it comes into play with twice that many +1/+1 counters on it instead. (Wording?) 1R, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Apocalypse Hydra: Apocalypse Hydra deals 1 damage to target creature or player.

Things in italics I am trying to garner. Anyway...
Progenitus: if I could afford to gather that much mana, I'd rather open a Door to Nothingness and laugh maniacally.
Apocalypse Hydra: *dies* This is a friggin' bomb. For 7 mana, I get ten pings. That's just...damn, powerful. Not to mention the body will be insanely tough to deal with. And even if you O-Ring Okay, still damn powerful for seven mana, and the pinging ability is reminiscent of Ancient Hydra (I have a soft spot for it in my Cube). I'm guessing it's rare, it definitely feels like it. Emptying a machine gun of its sort may take longer, but it's not stopping it from saying "answer or take 10+."
EDIT: Please take these textcards at your own discretion, since it's still in construction based on what LB is offering us info-wise.
You would have to put it in the yard and with the "shuffle this into your library on the stack", you could mannequin it back.
Sorry, the hydra has 1R, remove a counter to ping.
And I hear it literally has the word EVERYTHING!!!!
There is a hit for everything in the Orb, so I assume Progenitus literally has "Protection from Everything".

Thats what i thought first but im pretty sure Progenitus a replacement effect to be shuffled insted of going to the yard
Protection from everything just doesn't sound right to me. Protection from all colors, all card types is even more awkward. *headdesk*
Well, alternatively it could have Shroud, Protection from all colours. That would effectively give it "Protection from everything sans cigarette lighter."

I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.
Protection from everything.......except counterspells? lol.

you can generally tell the easiest road to victory by how many players congregate on it; and the road of counterspells/control has been the freeway of choice in magic for quite some time.

What I find offensive is not that Wizards is endeavoring to make the game more accessible, but the attitudes of elitists who act as though no one of any age should show their face in the Magic public without first having mastery over the complexities of the game.

Iridescent Angel has a form of "protection from everything". Pristine Angel does too. I don't know what the rules say about the word "everything", but I suppose R&D might be willing to bend them (or change them) in order to get the "wow factor" of a card with protection from everything.
In terms of power level, the above card would be pretty moderate, I think. For 10 mana, you're not getting much bang for your buck with a 10/10 unblockable with shroud, especially since it's nearly impossible even with the mana fixing available to make it happen. Ways to cheat the card into play that don't use the graveyard might be viable, but frankly, they already have some pretty amazing options. Still, Timmy's going to want one for his binder, so it won't be a crap mythic in terms of monetary value, imo. Dramatic Entrance would certainly live up to its name if you put down a 10/10 unblockable that can't be killed, at the end of your opponent's turn.

Without a mana activation cost, that would be very sick.
EDIT: Oh. With on there, it's a lot less sick. Still, it's a gigantic Krakilin simply for adding red.
It can't be targeted by anything, since it has protection from everything, so I think it cannot be countered. Help me out rules buffs.
He doesn't have any abilities until he successfully resolves, so a counter will still take him out. Just goes to show how ridiculous counters are, that even "protection from everything" can't stand in their way.

I wonder if Progenitus is an Elemental? At least then you could use some Smokebraiders to help with that ghastly cost.

But yeah. "Pro-all" sounds mythic enough to me. I wonder if they'd ever put it on little creatures though.
Amen.
Good point above. I hadn't thought of that.
