I've been playing this deck in my local vintage tourney's with varying success. The game plan is to get out 2+ landtax because then you fix your mana alot. There are a high density of Fish type decks so all the plainswalking really comes in handy against them. The most undervalued card in this deck that really has been an all star is Zodiac Chicken. People really underestimate the ability to attack for 2 on turn 3. Comments? Criticism?

Your deck is not legal, Balance is restricted, along with Black Lotus and Mox Pearl, I'm pretty sure you're trolling actually

I refuse to proxy it up...because there's no point...it's illegal.

Well i proxied this deck up, and it's having a little trouble with Tez, but my other matchups have been 70% or better. Seriously, I wasn't sure about it but with black lotuses, many decks can't deal with turn 1 Lord Magnus. I also wasn't sure about the heavy plainswalking theme, but it has proven to be quite solid. One suggestion i have is to cut one mox pearl so as to better comply with the banned and restricted list. In it's place I'm an advocate of a singleton Cheatyface. If you can sneak it in it can be pretty clutch (put it in the same sleeve as the land, right behind it!). All in all, great deck, and one I think has a serious future in competitive Vintage.
