This takes a fair bit of the Tezzeret core, but also does a few things differently - a manabase that supports a double splash, sacrificing a little consistency but giving it a fairly unique toolbox.
It's had a few T1 kills through one counter, as well as some epic games.
Diversification of fetchlands is solely for Pithing Needle and Phyrexian Revoker reasons - every fetchland played can get every land played in the maindeck. 4/2/1/1 in favor of Delta might be superior to 2/2/2/2 once the sideboarded basic swamp is considered.
I'm torn on Thoughtseize/Duress - in slower Mana Crypt games, I've won because of the Duress not costing me 2 life, and it seldom whiffs but it does sometimes.
You haven't lived until you have Vampiric Tutored for Balance after someone gets the Ancestral advantage over you.
