The basic ideal of the deck is to drop a Fluctuator then cycle until you draw/ cast a maniac then cycle until his draw trigger wins the game. I don't know the local meta. But would think maybe a transformation board would be best. Last time I played I got game one of round 1 then everyone knew what I was doing and locked me out before I could do anything...lol.
Seems like a fine idea for a casual combo deck, but just to be clear, unless you somehow draw your 1 Island on or before turn 2, you can't even cast your Fluctuator until turn 3 and then can't cast your Lab Maniac until turn 4.
I know it's in the budget area, but it loses to any counterspell on Fluctuator or any discard effect on the lone Maniac.
I know it can bring back the Maniac and it has some Pact & Miscalculation for some countering ability but I think if someone goes Null Rod, you concede.
With that said I know the deck name is Toad in a Blender but you could add substitute Angelsong for Lull and choose another cycling creature and cut Green - maybe helping the consistency. Possibly consider a Sol Ring for some acceleration/alternative cycling.
I'm confused as to why this is utilizing Laboratory Maniac as the wincon of choice. Haunting Misery is considerably better, as you can cast it off of a singleton Swamp + Dark Ritual, and it doesn't leave you vulnerable to creature removal. It allows you to go off on turn three with turns one and two taplands, turn three Fluctuator, cycle things a billion times, Swamp + Rit + Misery.
Like yeah you have to tweak your cycling base a bit but there are more than enough good options out there.

The sideboard should include Rescind and Rebuild.
