So my lgs just announced another eternal weekend and as a long time legacy player I've decided to make the dive into the vintage tournament a month from now. So as someone with absolutely zero vintage experience I'm kinda stuck on what deck to play. The tournament is 15 proxy legal competitive REL. My card pool to choose from is my legacy collection of basically being able to build any UWR legacy deck, miracles/ stone blade and the likes. I also can borrow legacy merfolk from a friend to get access to that cardpool, and will certainly be able to invest in some of the cheaper vintage cards I would need (misstep, null rod, etc). I love to play jeskai control decks in all formats, but would be open to suggestions.
Deck thoughts so far:
UR landstill
Blue angels
Pyromancer gush
Reel fish
Some kind of UWR hatebear null rod brew
Honestly, the easiest deck to switch over to is Delver. If you can play it in Legacy, you can lay it in Vintage. (Though you need a hell of a plan against Shops) Gush makes for fun plays and Cruise really has pushed it. Just practice with Gush a bit it's a lot more complicated than it first appears.
Also, test against Oath. It's winnable, but it's not easy if they land that Enchantment.
Yeah, the UR delver deck is insane in Vintage. Check out Vintage Super League (on YouTube) - the meta is a bit distorted, but it gives you a good idea and shows some excellent play and commentary by guys like LSV, Chris Pikula, Randy B, Dave Williams, and the master of vintageStephen Menendian.

Pyromancer Gush would be the way to go in a non-proxy enviroment, which you should have access to all the goods. Make sure you play all the match-ups, as they aren;t as intuitive as one woud think. The only thing that the pyromancer lists ar emissing are Lotus, Sapphire, and Ruby, which you may be rewarded for by playing more cantrips.
My Vintage LGS by me (a little further out than my usual LGS) now hosts weekly Vintage torunaments starting this weekend. I am lookig forward to doing this on a much more frequent basis.

If you have 15 proxies, and the availability of the other relatively cheap cards in the deck, you should be able to build.
