I play in the Northeastern US. Northern Massachusetts/Southern NH has a decent scene (that's where I play). New York has some activity, and so does Pennsylvania. The West Coast used to be the Vintage mecca, but the scene died and is only in the past couple years starting to come back. Ohio also has some Vintage I think.

Thanks! I live in the northwestern part of the US so that's rough
michigan has some players, but i've watch most of them leave for either work or family related reasons. RIW in livonia usually get the best turn outs when they throw vintage tournaments

The Pacific Northwest has a decent vintage scene. I only started paying attention to vintage recently and it is my understanding that it is not what it used to be but still very much alive.
Currently, you can play Vintage twice a month in New Jersey. Both Top Deck Games and Timezone Gaming are holding events. Both are 10 proxy events I believe but a lot of plays own power and such.
Plains - John Avon - 230
Island - Jung Park - 235
Island - Vincent Proce - 237
Swamp - John Avon - 238

I believe they coordinate with the Lancaster and Bloomsburg events in PA. So if you live in NJ or Eastern PA, you can basically play Vintage every single weekend. Seems neat.

There's also Mythic Games in Elmira, NY as well (about an hour and half north of Williamsport). The owner's favorite format is vintage and runs events monthly. 15 proxies and always 750$+ in prizes.

Minnesota has just started recently growing a vintage scene at a store called Hi Score in St. Paul. Another store called Monster Den has also started doing weekly vintage. Both are unlimited proxies but people are quite interested in it around here myself included as vintage died off in the area around 2008-2009 but tournaments started getting 20+ people last October/November or around that time. Even had a vintage tournament for a mox jet in january after just a couple of months despite skipping over December due to scheduling conflicts (Christmas is annoying.)

I know this post was forever ago, but anyone know the names of these places that play vintage in northern MA or NH?
Myriad Games in Salem NH has monthly 15 proxy vintage. They average around 10 players. Pandemonium in Cambridge MA has weekly vintage nights but they only average like 4 people. Their bi-monthly-ish tournies for expensive cards tend to have bigger turnouts, sometimes close to 30 from what I hear. I've never been there. There are occasional tournaments elsewhere.

Wow, that makes me sort of want to move back to the Twin Cities. When I was there Monster's Den had like 2 Vintage tournaments per year but they were always a lot of fun. I don't think I have ever heard of Hi Score. I will have to look into this when I visit next.
Now I am like the only guy in South Dakota with a Vintage collection (one of the few with even a Legacy collection). I mostly play on Cockatrice now. You can pretty much always find a Vintage game there.

Pandemonium's apparently been getting more players on Tuesday nights recently. I haven't attended yet but some friends have and I'm planning to start going. I heard the past couple months they've topped 10 players regularly.
There's a decent amount of Vintage just a bit north of Chicago, but that might not be close enough for you. I'm lazy so I tend not to make the drive either, but it's there if you're looking for in-person games.

I was referring to XtremeGames Monthly Vintage in Linderhurst although it seems that MTGCardMarket (Jaco & co.) are going to start a monthly one too at MTGCardMarket.
