there are quite a bunch of recur effect for auras in white now and theyre viable to allow auras in the cube without going the hexproof route

By theory then, GW Aura Search/Recur could be a Guild ID. So Cloak + Lagnacs combined with Umbras

i kinda left the guild id approach and just run the imo best cards avlbl, but yeah gw auras could be a thing with an overlap of +1+1 matters to utilize Lagnacs.

This is interesting. Lets you hold up a counterspell, but still do something if they do nothing. Im not sure if it's good enough though.

probably doesnt make the cut. neither mode is outstanding for UU1.

A red bone spliter you dont have to pay to equip (initially) and could be a combat trick.

I think I like this effect more than the before death power pump of supernatural stamina

the problem with those effects is that we have unearth which is the goldstandard and works at any time.
the upside of stamina vs death, its more likely to trade.

Who wants to roll a die? Obviously not as good as it looks, as they will sac the worst permanent/land.

Undying Evil brings the creature back untapped. Sure it's can't target creatures, which already have counters but it's still better. I would have really liked Feign Death if it said "under your control" rather than owners.

Forcing the opponent to sac a land on turn 6 doesn't really seem very impactful. The Elemental would have at least needed to have trample to be considerable.

How many effects in pauper really steal from your opponent? Besides temporary ones like Ray of Command and Act of treason. I run stamina and undying in my cube (and unearth). So its the decision on whether I like the Stamina or the Death more.

That wouldn't be a very unusual effect for black, see e.g. Shade's Form, Unhallowed Pact and as the most recent example Unholy Indenture.

i dont think the average cube wants 2 (3) of that effect, unless you want to abuse ETB or LTB trigger. then it depends on the target. on small stuff stamina works better and it also pushes dmg better. on lategame stuff the counter might be useful or enable +1+1 synergies

red giant not only has the same problem as all highend red, as it doesnt fit reds strategy of early threats into burn,
it also introduces rng for a mediocre effect. meh. if you want to gamble go with Boarding Party which is the definitive curvetopper imo

Minimus Containment seems decent. It depends on the stage of the game how much of an upside a single treasure is for the opponent, but I like the flexibility. Btw. this works really well with any kind of Auramancer-esque effect.

i honestly think owlbear is the best card of the set and we wont see anything spectacular else

but there is tons of dungeon stuff, maybe thats something.
