reading is tech. pass on the druid then.
actually i wouldnt even count it rediculous, it would be a slight buff to Terrain Elemental and actually the first card in this set that somehow show the "new era of powerlevel". so far everything is below the latest sets..
If Band Together does indeed allow 2 targets (I need a clear source saying it can, because I do not believe it does), doesn't that almost make it a Staple??

It targets 2 creatures you control to deal the damage. It's simply an instant Combo Attack, which let's you deal the damage to the opposing creatures with either 1 or 2 creatures. In which way is this card hard to understand?
If combo attack can target 2 creatures as well, I wonder why we never discussed it. Killing 2:1 even at sorcery speed is at least debatetable.
Anyways, I wouldnt call it staple at instant, because you still need 2 creatures in play which can kill opponents ones and cc3 stays slow af. Kinda reminds me of Kor Chant

Having two, 2/Xs kill a problem X/4 as a punch still seems perfectly acceptible to me. And the bigger your stuff gets, the better it is. Plus because its an instant punch, you can really mess up combat and blocks for an opponent. This is premium removal for green (which seems slowly drifting from fights to punches, and that's totally fine by me.)
Edit: Also combo attack requires 2 creatures. This doesnt. You can still use it with a single creature. And it doesnt fizzle if one creature is removed (but may not be as effective)
AL, wtf, the whole question around this card was whether or not it can hit 2 different creatures which you said it could
"It's flexible in the way that you can chose up to two targets and choosing 2 lethal targets"
now you step back and says it can only target one creature. exactly what night hydra an me were saying it does.
anyway im not so sure it cant anymore. it works like a 2 copies of rabid bite at once, so 2 creatures of you start punching. it doesnt say they have to target the same creature.
but yeah, thats why the wording on this card is a nightmare.
Honestly band togethers wording sounds like it would work either way. But judging it by the name of the card. I'd say your creatures are teaming up on one of your opponents creatures. If it was called something like twin strike or dual strike I could see it targeting two of your opponent's creatures. Some of the old cards have trash wording and this card falls right in with them.
It's flexible in the way that you can chose up to two targets and choosing 2 lethal targets prevents it from fizzleing against spot removal in response.
Which to me implied that i can target my two, 4/X creatures, target my opponent's X/4, and then even if they remove one of my 4/X the spell will still work.
Remember we still need to be a community. Butting heads over shoddy wording by WotC is no reason we, as the few surviving, Pauper Cubers cannot come to a civil discussion.
All that flowery crap aside, the wording should be closer to Combo Attack. If it is, *shoulder shrug*. If thwy somehow pull a rabbit out of their pants and it can be 2-on-2, I am in love.
It is a Borderline body+effect combo that does something useful if you flood. However, the gamea it would be amazing in, are stalled out ground wars. Usually avoidingnthose in favor of better evasive beaters or combat tricks that will punch through.
Tbf Al's statements above were totally clear and understandable to me. He was saying that it can target up to two of yours to deal damage to one of your opponent's creatures right from the beginning as far as I can tell.
It's not that hard to understand, really. The card has up to two targets on your side and one target on your opponent's side. That's what it says and what it does. If it did what many people apparently want it to do they'd word it something like
'Target creature you controls deals damage equal to its power to target creature. Then up to one other target creature you control deals damage equal to its power to target creature.'
If the word 'target' only appears X times on a card the card will only have X targets, unless it is preceded by the phrase 'any number of' or something similar. Magic 101.
Also, you really think they would print an instant speed green 2-for-1 removal for 2G that's trivially easy to get full value of in a regular Limited format? That's like printing Ashes to Ashes as an Instant and without the lifeloss at common according to their rarity and color pie policy of recent years.

Enchanted creature loses all abilities and has base power and toughness 1/1"
Seems decent for the mana cost. Will be great in limited.
Pacifism does more in Pauper. There are few creatures I need a more limiting Arrest for. We have Humble as a combat trick, i have not yet seen anyone champion that. Often times dead is more useful to your opponent than on the board neutered.
the phrase "each creature deals damage to another target creature" reads to me as if each one is acting individually. whatevs.
Really could have "up to two creatures tou control deal their damage to a single target". Just specify how many targets you get to shoot at, instead of trying to prove English is not an easily dissected launguage when needed.

Yes, but this can be played if you have no creatures. Can slow an aggressor from say 3 or 4 power to 1. Humble cant for more than 1 turn.
Also the color is important. Blue doesnt get 2 cmc "removal" much. Besides Narcolepsy, its mostly tappers for 3 cmc or more. Else I would say why bother with Arrest or Pacifism when Terror and Doom Blade exist.
Fun interaction is that it works with [[Vigean Hydropon]] not that people are running that card at the moment.
Does it also stop creatures enchanted with can't attack/can't block auras or am I understanding this wrong with layering?
Doom Blade vs Pacifism:
As mentioned, color is a factor. But also there are some things that can search for Auras at common. Searching is often limited in types. But whute being able, on color, to find its remival has been huge for me.
And as mentioned previously, being alive and unable to interact is more powerful against Red, Black and somewhat green.
It really depends on the meta whether or not Doom Blade or Pacifism is better. In a meta with lots of selfbounce and sacrifice effects Blade is clearly better, while in gy dependant metas the auras are better.
That said, I dont think blue needs or wants that 1/1 thing. Leaving the opponent with a creature he might still be able to beat you with feelsprettybad in the attrition matches.
The Druid says choose 1. So it either puts the counter or proliferates. A 2 mana 3/3 that also proliferates other creatures would be ridiculous.

Technically its 2 creatures you control and damage to any creature, But why you'd hit your own creature... the cases would be slim.
