So, I'm super into the spoiler strategy for this set, since it means we get way more commons before the end-of-season info dump! I don't think we've seen anything so far that looks that good to me, but why not get the conversation started?
A bigger Unruly Mob is probably too slow, but having more worthwhile starting stats isn't nothing.
It looks like Mystic Snake if you squint. I do think that this card is too slow for us, but the Snake comparison isn't unreasonable enough for me to ignore it entirely.
Three mana is slow for Black removal, but I'm more tempted by this than I should be because it is serviceable removal that is a little bit weak against fatties.
This kind of blends a body that is a bit weak for us with some library manipulation in a color that doesn't have a ton of this. I'm not to thinking this is good enough yet, but I could imagine a world where I get there.

I actually really think I like this guy. Is that ridiculous? It's mono-red support for token and sacrifice synergy attached to a thoroughly decent body. Unremarkable, but if you support either of those themes, it seems pretty good?

The red sry guy is interesting. Being able to library manipulate for basically free each turn is huge, even when the basic body is subpar for aggro. Running out of gas or into a pile of lands does really hurt. And as 2/3 for 2 it gets quite solid. Definitely a pickup for me.
The black removal seems kinda on par with "the" Eyeblights Ending(s), so very solid T2 removal
The counterspell might play quite solid. I think Id play a 2/2 for 4 with flash and that ability. Sadly its not a creature, so no blinks and bounces.
dont get me wrong, i hate the planeswalker type since introduced, but a big reason for this is the missing interaction with a lot of the cards printed before. normalizing the type to all other types of permanents makes hope for a broader variety of tools to battle them and make them more interactive.
Yeah Lazotep Reaver is pretty interesting for my cube at least. I already play all of the double token generators for 2 to support swarm and this one actually slightly outclasses them by creating a 1/2. This is pretty nice for sacrifice and better than something like Doomed Dissenter, which is only 1 body at a time.
I also like Ahn-Crop Invader. Not sure if it makes the cut though.
Id prefer to see something in the lines of Citanul Woodreaders than a mana sink that might fizzle.

Besides I dont consider those archetypes T1 in the first place, I also dont think they really benefit from "colorshifts" since you will be in 2 colors anyway. The best tokendeck is boros and I even cut most green token producer by now, because theyre in the wrong color.

We will get 1-5 cards REALLY worth playing. Amass is an OK ability in greater numbers. But making a 4cc Miscalulation that also makes a 2/2... Never a realistic option.

Amass only works if we get Changelings into the discussion, or Army creature cards. Otherwise it feels like Eldrazi; big dumb, and bkunce becomea amazing. This set makes Capsize et al a Mythic in terma of value.
I agree with Humphrey- W/o Planeswalkers this is gonna end up like Conspiracy. And most of us took like 2-4 cards from that
How do you guys feel about "Arlinn's Wolf"? Seems good on paper. Either it eats a removal spell, or tades with a creature with 3 power or more.

A courser also can't be blocked by a single 2/2, but it's much better on defense. The only difference is that the wolf can't be double blocked, but unless you really plan to put several auras on it a 3/3 is better a lot of the time.

Spellgorger Weird is potentially very strong, even without a dedicated spells matter archetype. After only a single spell it already becomes a Courser and your opponent never knows how big it might become in combat.
Band Together is probably the best green removal spell to date. It's flexible in the way that you can chose up to two targets and choosing 2 lethal targets prevents it from fizzleing against spot removal in response. Also instant speed makes it a lot better than Combo Attack.
If they print more reasonable proliferate cards like Pollenbright Druid and Bloom Hulk the +1/+1 counters matter theme a lot of people here have wanted for quite some time could slowly become a viable option.
i don think you can target 2 creatures with band together. both of yours have the same target? not sure, the wording is weird.
if you can only target one, then its still just a slow cc3 removal. maybe the best in green so far, but overall still meh.
The weird is okayish, but having to cast a spell first to make it a viable body doesnt feel too great to me either. Its no straight upgrade to anything in the cc3 slot imo.
+1+1 counters will probably still stay in my t3, which indeed got some interesting tools. The druid is the first competitive card i see here though. Its a 3/3 on its own with the potential to buff some more of your team. Definitely either replaces Kujar Seedsculptor or maybe I keep both for synergy.
