Yes, which is why I kept typing after the phrase "bigger stats"...
You don't truly get to "beat up" Man-O'-War, Banisher Priest, Fire Imp, Civic Wayfinder, Bone Shredder, Pestermite, Kor Hookmaster, Ghitu Slinger, Phyrexian Rager, Eternal Witness, Liliana's Specter, Fleshbag Marauder...
Danitha has a lot of text, but most of the time she's not going to be good unless Land Leeches would be good (e.g., a plain 2/2 first striker for 3). Hell, nobody plays Kitsune Blademaster and that gets to beat up a whole EXTRA "tier" of 3-toughness creatures in combat. Attended Knight gets you a free 1/1...

You don't, but you get to attack through them to a real degree and with a number of them you aren't trading with them like you would w/o FS.
Also, the Land Leeches comparison is not apt as vigilence/lifelink are huge differences. (Speaking of not reading the whole thing.) Those are key aspects of the card. Seems way better than the bushido guy too since it can attack and get back to blocking too. Those cars don't compare well to Danitha.
The real way that Danitha gets to "beat up" those creatures is by gaining two life and leaving a 2/2 first strike lifelinker on defense. It is an interesting card because while it matches up well against value 3-drops, does it match up well against the decks that most often run value 3-drops? It is not a slam dunk 3-drop, but I like considering it for bigger CUbes.
Vigilance and lifelink definitely aren't "huge" differences since they do absolutely nothing to change how Danitha lines up vs other creatures in combat.
2/2 FS is just a mediocre base body and Danitha doesn't do anything to bring up the low worst-case (and even average-case) scenario for her stats. You CAN potentially take over the board with her attacking and blocking (or attacking and preventing attacks) in repeated turn cycles, which is nifty, but you have to be able to do ONE of them first. How often does your Nightguard Patrol come down on T3 and then completely dominate?

They definitely are huge differences in how it plays, but when you're only focusing on the 2/2 FS aspect you're ignoring two key words, one which leaves it untapped and the other which gains you life.
If Nightguard Patrol had two extra abilities (one which is only relevant for 29 cards in your cube, but they bring up her base stats in a number of the cases) + 1 extra toughness, we would know, but it doesn't.

I'm generally quite happy if I'm the midrange guy with value 3's and you put out Danitha. I'll get my ETB trigger from my 3-drop, you'll maybe swing in past my 2/2 and Syphon Life once or twice but she just dies to almost anything and is rapidly outclassed by 4's and 5's (or a pair of 2/2s, an Omenspeaker, etc etc etc).
The word "lifelink" looks tempting vs aggro, and occasionally it'll work wonderfully, yes. But if the 2/2 FS body actually worked well at deterring attackers then we'd be much higher on stuff like Attended Knight and friends. It's just slow and weak against bounce, tap effects, evasive attackers, combat tricks...
It's unprintable at uncommon in a retail limited format. 1WW for two 2/2s and a temp anthem would be an insane rate at uncommon, would put it in the top echelon of retail limited uncommon creatures of recent memory, at least white ones.
2/2 first striker is pretty poor when not against aggro; most of the time she's probably too low impact for a three drop. If you're supporting pants then go nuts, but otherwise she seems pretty mediocre.
Why does Triumph of Gerrard only target highest power? It could be vaguely interesting if there were no targeting restrictions.
The great thing about Danitha Capashen, Paragon, compared to a 2/2 first striker or a 2/2 vigilance, is that having lifelink and vigilance is that you can get some additional value even if Danitha is outclassed by one or more creatures.
If you are against a red-aggro deck that plays Borderland Marauder into Brazen Wolves, you cannot block those Wolves and you will take 4 damage a turn cycle, but then you get to attack through Marauder and gain 2 and hold off the Marauder on defense.
If the midrange green deck plays Wall of Blossoms into Thrashing Brontodon, you can't block their three drop, but at least you can swing in and gain two life every attack.
I am definitely not committed to running Danitha in my CUbe, but this idea that she is useless if your opponent has a 3/3 out is a tad overblown.
I have to agree with io about one thing: Vigilance and lifelink are not huge upsides in the average case scenario. They will make her great vs some aggro matchups, but that isn't most matchups, and I wouldnt cube her as some card that's just really good vs diregraf ghoul.dec
The upside is there, but even in lists where there is a lower emphasis on hard removal, soft removal is really good against her upsides.
Average case, she blocks up a little ground vs some rando guy and either gains life or takes removal. Commonly, she will be just another guy on the board with too few stats. Rarely, she'll stonewall aggro decks and on occasion she will actually make an aura cost less and it will feel good.
Other days you'll get a bonesplitter on her and then your opponent plays the "do I have removal y/n" game of magic.
It's probably cubable. A usually worse aerial responder but easier to play?
Man, I'd love to mash Danitha into my cube... but I think I'm going to have to drop Kor Hookmaster to get her in. The rest is either blink/removal, Attended Knight or Aerial Responder. Here's to faster games in white?
Every card above the 1-drop or 2-drop slot NEEDS either a relevant ETB or to be overstatted enough it trades up with creatures of the same cost. Danitha has neither. The keyword soup looks enticing but still just being a 2/2 body with no ETB means that, sure, in 10% of games she absolutely stonewalls aggro, but in the other 90% of her games she'll just sit on the board untapped because she can't profitably attack into any decently statted 3 drop.

I have to side with the sceptics on Danitha Capashen, Paragon. Serra Angel is playable (still good, even) but no one plays Shepherd of the Lost. However, she is not unplayable: you just need to actively support a pants archetype since she is a beast once you start boosting her stats and she even helps that along with the cost reduction. Slapping a Zephid's Embrace on her could easily be game (even moreso than with most 1-3 drops).
i like the new keyword soup card purely because i still play splatter thug quite happily. literally any power boost and she is very strong, and we're acquiring a decent amount of +1/+1 counter cards in white and green these days. hell, even curving her into kongming or any other anthem seems really strong.
I have 2 auras > 1 cmc and a small collection of equipment, I switched a lot of my equipment into vehicles at one point perhaps I will switch some back to make better use of this.
Are there any really strong equipment/aura cards that would be better if they cost just 1 less?
I am a little worried that she'll bait some of my drafters into something that's not really supported though.

I'll give you that. I suspect my rampant durdling is to blame.
I don't get it.
As a multiplayer guy first-and-foremost, I'm used to setup time. I draft all the gorgeous blink and ETB pieces in UW in this cube, and what do I do? I durdle as if I'm expecting to draw into four pieces of intricate combo.
I'm looking at you, Kor Hookmaster, it's all your fault - you let me durdle when I shouldn't be!

It would have been a very, very strong uncommon, I suppose.

I think armadillo cloak, Various curses, animate dead, Control magic effects, Pacify effects, Bonds of Faith(a huge personal favorite)
I think there is enough potential there for most cubes especially if you make her a more draft around card.
