I wouldn't cut Beast Attack for Sailback, unless your cube is really starved for +1/+1 counter options in green (in which case you'd have to ask yourself why you are not playing the better options anyway). Beast Attack is a really good card for the more grindy green decks and it works just fine for the U/G tempo decks, so cutting it makes a number of options worse, while adding Sailback doesn't really do much outside of the counter deck that doesn't really need Sailback anyway.
Charging Monstrosaur is great! Really happy we finally get red 5 drops. It even fits into the G/R Fires deck.
It's pretty much a straight-up upgrade over Thunder Brute for me. Both of my 6 drops in Red are getting replaced by 5 drops now as my Shockmaw Dragon gets the boot for Hoarding Dragon.
I really want to retry rite again. The new guy can play better as an aggro topper I imagine, but I always had a sneaking suspicion that Rite was better than it played out.
Sure the dinosaur can block, but that's not what you wanna be doing with it. I doubt you're gonna leave back your 5/5 trample haste to block stuff.
And if you are blocking, then Id imagine you're losing that game.
Yeah, the elemental is easier for your opponent to kill, but it'll be right back next turn and every other subsequent turn for the rest of the game.
So what kind of land base are you running in a red/x aggro/midrange deck? You got plenty of 2RR, 3RR, 4RR and xRRR in your cube. Those are pretty hard to cast, too.
Sure, the 5/1 has no haste, but it's pseudo resilient to everything and will probably never go away.
EDIT: Also, someone said it before and I agree. 5 mana is a heavy cost for an aggro deck in my cube. I would slide this more towards the midrange style.
Tl:Dr, it's an alright card, and certainly there will be times that it's better than rite if the raging storm, but I don't think it'll be very often.
There's a new black card out.

Sailback is a flash 4/4 that can get bigger and can support +1/+1 counters
I support flash, counters, and GY in my cube, so likely both staying in

I like the Sailback over beast attack because GGG on turn 5 is pretty hard to hit, especially in 2+ colors.
How does this card compare to Rite of the Raging Storm?

Sure the 5/1 dies to any red burn spell and any black removal, but it always comes back.
Both have trample, both have 5 power
Rite is harder to cast and doesn't have haste, but rite forever comes back and endlessly runs over your opponent.
Rite can't block, is far easier to kill for your opponent if you need the attack to go through, has no haste and is harder to cast.
