I hadn't seen Dawnfeather Eagle. Don't know if it's better than other cmc5 whites, but it is interesting, no doubt. Those who played Inspiring Captain will like this.
Ice over doesn't tap on its own, though.
Regarding lifecraft cavalry: The problem with revolt is that it doesn't count permanents you opponents control, so it is not exactly a better Morbid. I think Rhox Maulers is better.

I can't stack the Revolt to work with Graft on its final counter can I?
Correct. For ETB Revolt cards, they have an "if" clause meaning they won't trigger at all if you haven't already had something leave the battlefield as it ETB's.
Scrounging Bandar: Two mana for two +1 +1 counters with some additional upsides and downsides seems potentially interesting for morbid and graveyard synergies. It can still function as a bear. I like it more than Aquastrand Spider in a vacuum.
Lifecraft Cavalry is interesting. I think I like it better than Rhox Maulers because getting the trigger is all under your control. If you're relying on an opponent to make a chump block to activate morbid or let your Rhox Maulers through, then the trigger is out of your control. You also get the +2 +2 straight up and can be blocking wiith a 6/6. At worst you get a 4/4 with trample for five mana which isn't a horrible disappointment. I might try and squeeze this into my cube.
Aether Chaser seems to be the standout card for pauper from this set. It's solid as vanilla and supports swarm with it's bonus ability. I'll be adding it to my cube.
Wrangle does seem interesting as well. Paying two mana for a slightly watered down effect seems so much more appealing than three.
Dawnfeather Eagle seems cool, but I just can't see how I'm squeezing him in unless I get the urge to go heavy swarm support again.
As others have mentioned, this set seems to provide loads of perfectly playable cards for those looking to construct artifact themed cubes of any particular variety.
Green seems to keep getting two drops that are useful when played on curve or lategame. I love these sort of cards, but it always seems hard to put them into a cube over two drops that are outright more powerful on curve; even if they kind of suck when drawn late.
It seems almost all cube designers value the immediate power of stronger two drops on curve, even with the potential of having a largely deadish draw late game as the trade-off. The above four cards are all perfectly acceptable played on curve and are all useful late game.Scrounging Bandar requires another creature on board to be useful late game although it still has other potential synergies in a lot of cubes that bump up its potential.
Revolt, as a mechanic, intrigues me. It triggers with Sac Lands, Karoo, Gating, Clue Tokens, etc.
Is it great? Sort of. Whst ir loses in comparison to Morbid, is gaining board-state post combat. But it gains in the land interactions, of which I am probably the biggest fan here.
Food for thought. In a "who knows when" set analysis, I am gonna look at my Cross Pollination, as well as Energy for Cube. I like a lot, and spent 30 min narrowing 10+ cards from my SCG order.
Think of Chandra's Revolution as a Bathe in Dragonfire that denies both players a land for one turn, with the slight upside that you get to choose which land for both players.
That just doesn't push this anywhere near playability in my eyes. Sure, you deny the opponent to play on curve for one turn, but by casting the card you're also denying the same to you by spending 4 mana on an effect that should cost 2. Between the 1-2 slots we have for red CC4 noncreature spells I don't think wasting one for a Sorcery that doesn't hit the face is a good idea.
i dont see any situation were inventor is better than giant. randomly you will be able to discount by 1 with an equipment, but for a controldeck that hardly matters. 5 toughness is definitely better. And Im not sure I want to include a second "copy" of giant.
The possibility to be cast for 5 mana to actually help you stabilize could potentially matter a lot. At 6 mana, benthic giant is pretty much only getting cast if control is already winning
I've run equipment like opaline bracers or vulshok morningstar + random bodies as a wincon in control (so your omenspeaker/man-0'-war type stuff can double as threats late game) plus there are some artifacts control decks actually want like perilous myr, prophetic prism, serrated arrows
The bastion inventor could also potentially show up at the top of the curve in some midrangey deck with equipments
After checking my cube it will replace Whirlwind Adept because its pretty similiar and more flexible, since Adepts main use is in UR spells matters. Its slightly worse in that archetype but the toughness of 4 is much better. I dont see it getting the discount pretty often in my cube, though.
Its hard to stabilize with it nonetheless, because other colors big dudes have generally a power of 5 (which makes giant actually similar)

The new hexproof 4/4 can be a thing, even when I suppose it will be a worse giant most of the time.
Mobile garrison is... ok, I guess?
Wrangle hits most of the creatures in the cube, and for that cost could be a thing in fast decks.
Aether chaser best card for us.
Countless gear renegade maybe.

Dawnfeather Eagle nice for tokens
Bastion Inventor pretty close to benthic giant
Ice Over another cc2 removal for blue
Aether Chaser seems solid enough unlike the others
Wrangle this effect for cc2 seems good
Lifecraft Cavalry CC5 morbid for a 6/6 trample
also
Unbridled Growth fixing with a lot of gy synergies
Mobile Garrison dont know what to think about this, but seems interesting
overall a pretty boring set, though. but with some additions for future artifact synergies.

Audacious Infiltrator seems the next best 3/1 after Daring Skyjek.

White: 5 drop eagle, nothing else
Blue: Bastion inventor seems better than benthic giant to me. Aether swooper, hinterland drake and leave in the dust are solid, if nothing really new
Black: Fourth bridge prowler is playable I guess. I personally have a soft spot for alley strangler.
Red: wtf-busted 2 drop, nothing else really. I guess wrangle for anyone trying to push a steal-n-sac deck
Green: literally nothing? unbridled growth is nearly always worse than abundant growth
Colorless: nothing
Not much of a haul huh. I guess getting a busted 2-drop counts for something.

I have a Blink/Gating theme in U/W. More reusing abilities than Blink. Is Dawnfeather Eagle better/more enjoyable than Borrowed Grace?
I have Staunch Defenders but I love them in the same Archetype, so maybe I need to pick one?
But, non-Blink W/X control likes them too.
If I have True-Faith Censer and Cultist's Staff, does the new 4/4 Hexproof validate a switch to Inventor's Goggles?
