If you cant see a theme I want legendary creatures as finishers that would allow me to play karakas in the cube and be worth it.
I'd love one or two legends in each monocolor so karakas could be viable.
If you're into legend finishers, you should just ask for Gerrard Capashen. The Volvers would be sweet, but seem very unlikely. Where are they ever going to reprint triple color kicker cards?
You can get a Loyal Sentry proxy in Abu Ja'far. It can't attack, but that isn't why you'd cube either of them. Abu probably has more upside by threatening regenerators. But no-one plays it, which is probably indicative of how much we want Loyal Sentry.
I thought we had a 'protection from creatures' proxy for Cho-Manno, Revolutionary, but it's only Beloved Chaplain, unless you count the aura versions. I think I'd prefer a 2/2 pro creatures version for 4, or cube a better defensive creature; Cho-Manna can block well and it can avoid burn, but it can't get past a 1/3, whereas a pro creature err creature could also chip in for damage.
I just don't think they're into killing walkers on cards below rare. Especially because 'walkers only show up at Mythic (since the introduction of mythic).
Power-level-wise, sure. It's worse than Terminate in a most situations, especially with regards to limited, which is where rarity matters most.
Firemane Angel is rare due to matters of complexity. I don't think they would put it at uncommon even in a Masters set. Reborn Hero is like Bloodsoaked Champion, a recently printed card which was placed at Rare, so I don't think Wizards would downshift something so similar. Sunblast Angel could potentially be uncommon, but a good comparison is Subjugator Angel, which is only uncommon because it's substantially weaker, so again it's unlikely that Wizards would downshift Sunblast Angel. Unifying Theory is probably rare because it triggers off of spells any player casts, which is decently powerful. It's probably the card on this list most likely to see print at uncommon, but because it's any player the memory issues mean it would only be at uncommon in a Masters set.

Your new prescription eyeglasses don’t work. You still can’t see things my way.
Reborn Hero is vastly too small to do anything, recurring a 2/2 for 3 -- once you achieve threshold -- for double white mana just doesn't provide enough value.
Unifying Theory is somehow vastly worse, it's ten mana and five spells cast to become Tidings AND it lets your opponent keep up.
Sunblast Angel does just seem insanely good. The Boros angel was discussed recently (in this thread? somewhere) and it's definitely not GREAT but it sure is complicated.
I was flipping throught cards for the random card of the day and found this: Veiled Crocodile. While I feel it probably wouldn't be cubed it seems like it would be fun for a cube.
Attempting to revive this thread with Mutilate. Think it would be interesting, and I don't think it would be obviously too strong, as it likely starts out as a 4 mana Infest but then can grow more powerful.
maybe I overrate flexibility, but a 3 damage board wipe for 3 is a powerful effect and having a backup of a bit of reach is useful too.
I specifically want CC cards that are a good bit more powerful than C cards to reward color consistency. I run two sets each of fetches and shocks now so I want to discourage that "five color take every fetch and bomb" mentality. This want for CC cards is probably not applicable to anyone else's cube though.

~400 Peasant++ : List : Draft
Warning: Not for the durdly-hearted!
Yeah, board wipes are def powerful in peasant, I've always liked the control decks that play red for Pyroclasm and such. I would be happy with another one, as Im not a huge fan of having a second 2-damage wrath in red. Flame Wave is cool, but I'd rather something much cheaper. Saying no red deck wants that is kinda off IMO, as red is definitely capable of playing control.
Bearscape
Borborygmos
Cabal Patriarch
Call of the Herd
all the volvers such as Cetavolver
Colossus of Sardia
Orim, Samite Healer
Crovax the Cursed
Jeska, Warrior Adept
Mirri, Cat Warrior
