Nimble Mongoose at COMMON! Now, it's basically unplayable, but the fact that a common has two keywords as complex as Threshold and (to a lesser extent) Shroud is pretty awesome, and a good sign for complexity/power level of the rest of the set!
All that, plus don't forget the two cards that were announced with the set -- Force of Will and Wasteland
I haven't seen a Limited article on their site in a while. That was usually the place to find common cycles and draft around uncommons etc. Didn't it use to be weekly?
I tend to, greatly, prefer the average card art from modern magic over older magic (before kamigawa, let's semi-arbitrarily say). I'll take a promo trostani's summoner over almost anything any day.
I'd probably say something like modern art is average 6 with variance 1, whereas old art was average 4 with variance 12. That new Bloodbraid elf looks like it is smashing the world in. Doesn't really look like a 3/2.
I wonder if an imperial recruiter would be "worth it". Probably would be at mythic, but what would it do to the EV of the packs, how would this influence the price at which packs are sold, the degree to which they are hoarded, and consequently, the price at which an EMA recruiter could eventually be found in the wild?
So today's article reveals the following archetypes:
GW-Enchantments
RG-Fast Aggro
BG-Elves
GU-Threshold
BU-Reanimator
Does that give us any hopes for anything specific? Reprints and/or downgrades? Could we get an uncommon enchantress perhaps? Shame Femeref Enchantress is reserved, otherwise it could be a neat uncommon seed for the archetype..
EDIT: Mistyped, originally stated that there would be RW enchantments.
Given that there are only three blue cards with threshold (four if you count Cephalid Coliseum), I'm assuming that it's really more of a self-mill archetype than just that mechanic in particular.
It has a high price, sure, but that's solely due to scarcity. An Eternal Masters mythic would cost like... $15, and a rare $5. Either way, the like twelve people in the world who have Aluren combo built for Legacy lose hundreds of dollars in card value after the reprint.
The Graveborn Animate Dead is pretty bad. WotC did say that the cards will have a "premium foiling process", which scares me. I was no fan of Modern Masters 2015's foiling. I'm just hoping it's not that bad, I really want a foil Baleful Stryx from this set in my cube.

The main reason why it has to be mythic is that it's expensive. They're really careful with their reprints nowadays (see Chronicles disaster). They want to slightly lower the price of cards, but they certainly don't want to completely destroy the value of an extremely valuable card like Recruiter. Apart from that I highly doubt it would go down that much. We'll see.
There are a bunch of fairly pricey P3K cards that they've had no shame about reprinting like the FTV versions of Rolling Earthquake and Burning of Xinye, and also the Commander versions of Lu Xun, Scholar General and Strategic Planning. Collectors seem to value the original P3K versions highly enough that those do retain a lot of value even after getting a black border reprint that's dirt cheap, so I think there's reason to hope that almost anything from P3K is fair game here.

I don't like it. You need a reasonable understanding of the metagame to get decent milage out of the first casting in Constructed and to use it well you have to really really understand the matchup. In cube where people get less exposure to it and every card is a 1of, it's pretty trash. 2for1'ing yourself in most decks to build a Thoughtseize doesn't particularly interest me.
I feel like Cabal therapy would only be worth it if you have already seen the opponent's hand through a Gitaxian Probe type of card or after Duress has been played. Seems like too much work to me.
So in the 8% of scenarios you combine it with Duress or Repulse... what's the payoff? One mana less than Distress??? And in some fraction of those scenarios you're able to use the flashback?
Shardless Agent (albeit at rare) should hopefully knock the price down on it a bit, especially as it's due in the Planechase Anthology too.
Lots of excellent reprint choices so far...but no CU/be relevant rarity downgrades yet?
Not many commons/uncommons in general yet. I expect there will be a few rarity downgrades, but they won't be cards that matter much in a constructed format.. only for limited and for cube. I don't think we will see anything for us until Thursday/Friday.
Bloodbraid Elf is in with new art!
Sylvan Library has a black border option that won't cost $80! (gold symbol for those who care about that, though)
Daze reprint!

Kinda reminds me of Psychic Spiral. Blessing has sorcery-speed "cycling" early, but Spiral actually wins you a stalled board late-game.
