I personally think Cloudgoat Ranger is the strongest card in that pack and would select that. I also do not mind Staggershock, especially if an Izzet spells build is supported in your cube.

I'd prob take them in that order too, Kitchen Finks is also on my radar and maybe we wheel the 'whisp (hoping the same if I take Ranger as well)
I had a really interesting draft pool at the end of our draft from the last cube session -- curious what the rest of y'all would do to build it. ~15 of the cards are probably shoo-ins, but definitely has a lot of debatable options!
I find myself apprehensive about running ancient tomb in this deck. I really want to hit forests on turn 1, have a strangleroot geist, 3 colors that may be just a little shaky, and a decent amount of 1CC drops. Turn 1 porcelain legionnaire or turn 2 Bloodbraid elf may be explosive plays, but I foresee having mana issues already with this deck. I'm scared to lose on color screw and would rather prop up my ACS.
Nine green sources is just enough for me to feel ok about all these llanowar elves.
Does anyone want to figure out what to do with this mess of WW and GG. Didn't quite realize how many I had until I was done. I also kept switching between going wide and going big and ended up with no clear theme.
A little context, the draft was 2-player Glimpse 10 packs of 12 for 40 cards. We do it at lunch and I usually have two kids crawling all over me, so sometimes my drafts aren't the most focused.
The double symbols don't look that bad. The only 3-drop is Flickerwisp which is very likely still relevant on T4/T5 if you're waiting for a second white source, and you have four duals to get to, say, 11 white and 10 green sources.
Grafted Wargear. I just love the card, sure, but the colours with the other best cards in this pack (black and white) have multiple crazy cards each. Thus, you would very likely end up fighting over those colours if you chose a card from either. I do not generally take colour signalling to be a large consideration but the fact that there is a colourless all star available does make it relevant in this case, in my opinion.

This is cube. You'll be fighting in all colors, if it's built properly.
If anything, you still get first dibs in this pack and can possibly push the presumed drafter out of the color in the next 14 picks.
I know you downplayed that aspect of the draft eventually, but the older i get the more I think it's of no value.
I think it's the "pro opininon" that the "not fight over a colour"-strategy in P1P1 should only be the final tiebreaker whenever everything else is equal, and not something that should be a major concern. You are picking first, whoever gets into black(white) to your left is the one who will suffer.
"fighting over a color" sometimes matters in Wizards draft sets, where more than half the cards in packs are cards you don't ~really~ want to play. Don't think it matters much for cube.
I wonder what cards in different colors are truly equal.
Also, spider, I've noticed a sharp uptick in playables in standard sets, as of late. In guilds, there are probably fewer than a dozen cards that I legitimately never want to play.
Cutting the people to your immediate left off of your main colour does have some benefit. You're potentially getting another ~2 packs where you get any p1p1 level cards in that colour. I would rarely take a weaker card because of it, but it's not a non-factor.
Also totally fine with Flame Slash
