no, I meant that deathtouch is more consistently useful than a goblin pikers and the costing of the ability is still acceptable, leading to an all round "safer" card. It's not a trash card is all I'm saying.
Scythe Leopard looks awful, but it's always nice to see more playable flash/instant cards like Stasis Snare in colors that aren't blue.
I don't really know what you mean by "safer" here. 2/1 (speaking of Azure Mage) is usually treated as a BETTER body than 1/1 deathtouch (see Elite Vanguard-type white cards vs Typhoid Rats). It's different for a 2-drop than a 1-drop, sure, but the much easier mana cost of the ability (and less colored mana-restrictive costs) puts Azure way over the top.
I don't think the Guildmage is particularly playable, sorcery speed activation kills any appeal the card might have for me.

The G/W and U/B ones are probably a little too parasitic for cube though I do like both of their abilities :(.
U/W one might be the best awaken spell we'll see (still hoping that awaken cancel is a real card)
The new UB uncommon is too parasitic and the WG one is too slow. RG is... fine, I guess? Pretty unexciting, though. Trample is definitely what makes it playable. I might test it out. Roil Spout seems really good, though. It looks highly playable, and is in line with the flicker/bounce theme that most folks support to some degree. Superbounce an opponent's creature, or save one of your own. Sorcery speed makes it sad, but it'd be imbalanced as an instant so I guess it'll have to do. This is probably the only Awaken card I'll be cubing.

My 360 Peasant+ Cube!. Modern borders where possible, usually with the newest (or "best") art, and always the most readable card text. I also run all 10 painlands. My playgroup is super casual, as we have a fair number of newer or less experienced players. Typically we draft with 4 to 6 people, using 5 packs of 9.
Nobody is playing time ebb for their tempo blue sections so I don't think using a gold slot on one that has the potential to be a card that compares quite negatively to dinrova horror is all that interesting. Dinrova is in a deeper gold section, but it doesn't etb tapped, can be reanimated, can be blinked, can be bounced without evaporating, and doesn't cost me a land when it dies or attacks or psuedo cost me to block.
Should we be testing time ebb? Is this effect underrated? Because then maybe I could understand a bit more.
I also am not that interested in tajuru warcaller unless you really want a second/watered down overrun and don't want the 6 mana one from origins instead.
Side note
This is easily the most parasitic set I've seen in years. The fact that the eldrazi cards don't even let you use the old tokens is a bummer.
Time Ebb isn't particularly playable (I tried for a while), and again... Six mana for a tapped vanilla 4/4 with downside? Bah. This IS the closest Awaken card I've seen from the set, though that really isn't saying much.

The Time Ebb effect probably is slightly underrated, especially since we got a strict upgrade with scry 1 from Origins. Worth considering when you look at the Crippling Chill style tempo cards... Not really worth considering in your Azorius section tho

This is off topic, but since the card has been brought up... I never really considered Anchor to the AEther to be a cubable spell before triple-Origins draft, but having seen it in action it performs a lot better than I expected it would. Does anybody run Anchor and can provide feedback on it?

I think the difference between a card like shock+ and time ebb+ is that if you came up to me at the end of a draft with a free shock, I'd probably put it in a bunch of my decks but I wouldn't do the same for time ebb.
The blue green guy doesn't quite cut it over jhessian infiltrator in my opinion. But, it very easily slots into that strange project I've been working on that has over 1200 cards in it right now.
I can see people testing out the golgari guy. It's more interesting than dreg mangler and pharika's mender and possibly quite good.

I'm running 21 cards from Scars block, for what it's worth.
Breaker of Armies, Eldrazi Devastator, and Deathless Behemoth are prime examples of the mediocrity I was afraid of. I'll still probably run some of them though. I really really need a two-for-one colorless 7 drop. Stasis Snare is probably coming in over Banishing Light, simply because flash is more interesting than a bad Oblivion Ring.

BG is... interesting? You get 3 power, 4 toughness worth of dudes across two bodies, and the scry ability is nice upside.
UR is parasitic/useless
BW is way too weak
RW is, for us, Cleaver Riot attached to a horrible body.
UG is rad -- hard to call it a "Simic card", but flexible and strong at every point from 2-5 mana in ambitious multicolor decks
