I like one-on-one Winston draft quite a bit, so I was inspired to make a dedicated "Cube" for it. Is it too small to call a cube?
The only theme ideas I have so far are "All Multicolour", "All Cycles", and "Lorwyn/Morningtide". I could combine "All Cycles" with either, of course. Has anybody tried Cubes like these? Is "All Cycles" a terrible idea? It could go either way, I feel.
90 cards is too little IMO, even for Winston. You'll see the same cards every time, the only difference will be whose pile they end up in. 180 will give you variety and my 300 cube has been great for Winston too.
Really? Huh. Yeah, I suppose the same 90 cards every time would become tedious. It'd be hard to fit more than two or three different tribes in there, too, if I went with the Lorwyn theme. 360 just feels rather intimidating. I'm probably "overestimating" how hard it is to make a 360 card list.
At 90 cards it would probably be better to source from a typical unpowered pool (rather than pauper or peasant) and stick with 2 colors. Prioritizing cards like Oona's Prowler, Bloodghast, Call of the Herd, Flametongue Kavu, etc that bridge several archetypes would be important.

You could also include cards like Squadron Hawk, Surging Flame, and Accumulated Knowledge as draft 1 get 3 free to alleviate some of the burden of 90 cards.
