Hi everybody, I'm going to build a pauper cube with some friends and I need insight on some things, mostly with the archetypes.
1º Is Land Destruction a good secondary theme for RB? I want to give each color pair two ways of playing the game. First RB has is the obvious Rakdos Aggro choice, but I was wondering if LD is worth the slots. The cards I'm considering are based on being efficient enough or by versatility (cards that I would add either way because they have options that include LD):
2º Is graveyard recursion a good theme for the GB pair? Golgari's main theme will be midrange with graveyard recursion including, but not limited to, Dredge, Scavenge, Threshold, Reanimation and sacrifice effects. The problem here is the same that LD has: some of the cards are good and would be included anyways, but some are too narrow. Here are the cards I'm considering:
I don't know if I'm missing some worth Threshold cards or cards with Unearth / Dredge or some other reanimation mechanism.
Is Hexproof Auras a good secondary GW theme? First one is the typical Selesnya beats with beefy creatures and a little bit of ramp here and there. Here are the options I'm considering:
There are some auto-cube includes up there to begin with: Rancor and Armadillo Cloak for sure, but there are some other cards well worth considering on that list regardless of whether hexproof/auras is a theme for you. It has been fun for me.
I've already browsed a couple lists and I have most staples of the cube in mind, just looking towards filling the holes with some secondary archetypes so all color pairs have two different archetypes. Also, are flashback cards counted as gold? I would really like to include one in each color without counting them as gold, but I don't know if that's optimal for the cube.

2º Is graveyard recursion a good theme for the GB pair? The problem here is the same that LD has: some of the cards are good and would be included anyways, but some are too narrow. Here are the cards I'm considering:
- Stinkweed Imp
- Golgari Brownscale
- Grim Harvest
- Tortured Existence
- Werebear
- Putrid Imp
- Undertaker
- Thrashing Mossdog
- Terrus Wurm

- Commune with the Gods
- Shambling Shell
I don't know if I'm missing some worth Threshold cards or cards with Unearth / Dredge or some other reanimation mechanism.
Is Hexproof Auras a good secondary GW theme? First one is the typical Selesnya beats with beefy creatures and a little bit of ramp here and there. Here are the options I'm considering:
- Phantom Tiger

- Silhana Ledgewalker
- Gladecover Scout
- Guardian of the Guildpact
- Primal Huntbeast

- Moldervine Cloak
- Observant Alseid
- Leafcrown Dryad

4º Is tokens swarm a good plan for the RW pair? I don't know if tokens is viable enough but here are the cards I'm considering:
- Raise the Alarms
- Krenko's Command
- Dragon Fodder
- Attended Knight
- Mogg War Marshall
- Doomed Traveler
- Elgaud Inquisitor
- Cenn's Enlistment
- Captain's Call

Land Destruction, assuming you want to support it:
- Aftershock
- Wrecking Ball
- Icefall
- Befoul
- Sinkhole
- Stone Rain
All somewhat versatile cards, except for Icefall, which has recursion.
Graveyard Recursion:
- Moldervine Cloak
- Grim Harvest
- Tortured Existence
- Werebear
- Undertaker
- Thrashing Mossdog
- Terrus Wurm
- Gravedigger
- Unearth
- Disturbed Burial
- Cadaver Imp
- Grisly Salvage
All of the above are worth considering, though some are a little more niche, or dependent on the number of cards in your cube.
Hexproof Auras:
- Silhana Ledgewalker
- Guardian of the Guildpact
- Primal Huntbeast
- Rubbleback Rhino
- Rancor
- Wingsteed Rider
- Armadillo Cloak
- Moldervine Cloak
- Observant Alseid
- Leafcrown Dryad
- Feral Invocation
- Ethereal Armor
- Knightly Valor
There are some auto-cube includes up there to begin with: Rancor and Armadillo Cloak for sure, but there are some other cards well worth considering on that list regardless of whether hexproof/auras is a theme for you. It has been fun for me.
Tokens:
- Raise the Alarms
- Attended Knight
- Mogg War Marshall
- Doomed Traveler
- Elgaud Inquisitor
- Cenn's Enlistment
- Empty the Warrens
- Rukh Egg
- Veteran Armorer
Those might be worth considering, I run a few of them. But this is by far the weakest of your theme lists to my eyes.
About the GB, I think most of the cards are solid enough, save perhaps Cadaver Imp. Also, is the affinity golem cycle good enough?
