Whilst the 'Evaluate Everything' thread is more thorough, I think it might be difficult for new cubists to filter the best cards out from the chaff due to the high volume of information. The 'Power Rankings' thread gives a much clearer view of what the big hitters of the format are, and new players can take cues from that (i sure as hell did).
I am happy to do the power rankings whenever you are.
I'm back safely at home December 1st. We'll start the power rankings December 2nd, and finish them all off on December 25th.
Edit: I think that's a great plan!
@Leelue. NYC is not on the list of places to go, as I've already been in the past.. I'm mostly backpacking through Thailand, Burma, China, South Korea (Seoul, woo!), Japan, and then over to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and back up north to SF, California. Home sweet home.
I can do that, but I will wait until December when I get back.

What do people think of.... Flailing Soldier..?
If I'm on the play and drop a Flailing Soldier, your opponent can't kill it via it's activated ability. And then I can swing in next turn for 2, 3 or 4.
If I'm on the draw, then it's kinda frown town and can be killed via it's activated ability, and thus a kinda crap turn 1 creature.
I could see it being playable if it had haste (maybe with slightly different stats/cmc for balance) since you could dash it out to make a pseudo fireball effect in the late game.
Random card I've not seen before... is Pilgrim of the Fires any good? Combination of reasonable power, first strike and trample seems decent. Your opponent can't just chump it with a token, and unless they have first strikers of their own it's going to be tough to take down with blockers. It probably costs a mana more than you'd want to pay and dies to artifact removal though. I'd guess the cost would limit it to ramp decks more than being used elsewhere.
I have been running it and it performs admirably. I even played it as a finisher in a control deck at one point and having it hit the table simply stabilizes the field quite nicely although it is of course still vulnerable to removal.
Hordeling outburst isn't busted. But I'm not breaking up my Zen lands.
Anyway, I would imagine skaab goliath is better than the 7 mana artifact creature, and people aren't generally not running that monster because blue has a wealth of better finishers. Being extremely big on the ground after 5 mana is... difficult. Some resistance to removal in regards to your value is generally necessary.

It's a fair point. I'd play the Goliath first if I was playing blue. Being colourless gives it play elsewhere, and maybe opens up some obscure control decks in other colours. Understand the Eldrazi is more powerful, but the difference between 7 and 8 without ramp is usually a few turns.
It only really holds a candle to the red and black finishers if you ask me, but it isn't so much better than say boldwyr intimidator or minotaur aggressor
I've been unimpressed with Wee Dragonauts, and would like to replace. I don't run online rarity downshifts, so Prophetic Bolt is out of the question (if only it was like Soltari Champion with a black symbol!).

Draft it on Cubetutor here, and CubeCobra here.
Treasure Cruise did nothing wrong.

T2 powpercube Value https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/37t
It would open up a discussion of some of the newer cards not all of us have even played or considered.
It would also allow us to skip the circlejerk of seeing lightning bolt, swords, and control magic at the top of the lists every year...

It makes every interaction effect in cube look like an absolutely embarrassing blowout.
Spellheart Chimera is something I'm looking at. Izzet Charm doesn't excite me too much. Stormchaser Chimera is kinda cool. Fluxcharger is something I've had before and it was alright.
Any suggestions? I'm up for anything.
