Im pretty sure you can almost build the same decks from my cube and form Als cube besides the token archetype, which might wont work in a small player environment anyways. Al calls my differing cards inconsistent, I say they are more exciting for existing archetypes than boring "vanilla" cards. But for whatever cube you decide first, its pretty cheap and easy to test out other players cubes as well.
@Elvemage: Don't lose your head over whose Cube to pick as a guideline, any cube list you pick from the top-posting users in this forum will give you a nice drafting experience: they are all well balanced and pretty much updated.

My 490 Pauper Cube
Modern frame only- Common on paper only - no functional copies, no strictly-betters - no subtype-matters
Hey Al, how's Night Soil? It being 4-mana and needing four dead dudes for two 1/1's as kind of a baseline always seemed super steep to me.
Night Soil is super solid in and against controldecks. I easily makes 4-6 tokens. I still run it in my tier1, although it might really shine with the token support of my tier2.
6 tokens for 5 mana? You know you only get 1 token per activation right? Or was this a typo?
yeah, it would cost you 8 mana combined and usually you wont get all token in the same turn. you probably will get 2-4 in the midgame and another 2-4 in the lategame. depending on your creature count and the opponents ofc. but its really great when you are fighting over board control.
@AL
I again drafted your cube and im pretty sure, besides breaking the common-rule,Worldknit is way above pauperlevel. It absurdly fixes your mana even turn1! and allows for extremely broken decks, since its almost no disadvantage to run all your drafted cards. Cards like Flood or Opaline Bracers get plain stupid with it.
In a powered pauper cube with all the scariest removal I can definitely understand not being crazy about him, but even in that environment there is plenty of tokens in Green and Red. He seems like a fantastic deal with only one sacrificed creature required to make him great value.
I misread the card first, so I didnt pick more manipulation cards. Im sure its pretty easy to get a somewhat consitent deck with another looter and 1-2 cantrips/draw. Its also pretty easy to draft a low curve which will be more consitent than 2 color decks because of insane fixing. You need Worldknit in the first pack though, which makes it quite randon and I dislike it even more.
But it isnt a paupercard anyway.
6 tokens for 5 mana? You know you only get 1 token per activation right? Or was this a typo?
yeah I misread it. Back to thinking it's pretty bad. Still is an engine though. And those are hard to come by at Common... Jeez. That's so much setup.
Oh and Worldknit decks should aggressively draft lands. Shrinking your deck size is very important.
The good thing is, it doenst need any special setup since all cubedecks are creature based. You just need to play the game and get "free" tokens along the match.
Its also am anti-gy card should your opp rely on recursion, threshold/delve mechanics
Ive no problem with running Conspiracy-cards and Librarian is a common. Also there are hundreds of other rares that wouldnt unbalance the cube and improve its playabilty. If I ever wanted to break the common rule, Id include real duals because that would increase the playability for all players the most. But I wont, because I like the restriction the format has.
For me it seems that running the online commons is the starter drug for breaking this rule and youre on the same train as metalevolence.

Totally Agree,
The "Commons Only" is a restriction that makes (for some of us at least) the process of building our cubes more challenging.
The restrictions are all self impose, in other world your cube your rules, but a pauper cube is commons only.

I'm glad I stuck with pauper cube for a few years because I feel like I gained a good sense of the power level and what makes the format good. I think I'm at the point where I can trust myself to responsible with uncommons and rares and not ruin the cube.
So far I'm having a pretty good time with my sac outlets and playable 1-drops.
I am considering a cycle of rare lands that can fix mana turn 1. Not sure if it should be fetches, shocks, or painlainds. Even the painlands are expensive enough now that I'll have to proxy them to not have to worry about theft :/

I totally can see the reason why you go this route. If I only had my Tier1 cubing would be boring as hell by now, because the archetypes basically didnt change in the past 2 years. RG Stompy got from heavy G more towards R and blue got even more tempocards.
But you guys have to accept that it isnt pauper anymore. So while im fine with discussing it in this subforum because its pauper-oriented, you should open seperate thread(s) for it. I also think it somewhat cheats on new players, althoug AL made only 1 exception.
I have to agree. Putting non-commons in a pauper cube makes it non-pauper. Of course it is your cube and you can do with it whatever you like, but I wouldn't call it a pauper cube if there are more than one or two exceptions.

Why does it matter that somebody decides to include one pet card that isn't a common? The point of cube is to have fun after all, and if playing Worldnit enchances the cube experience, I see no problem with it.

I was thinking of about damage redirection in cube and find this old guy in my collection Nomads en-Kor and now i wonder how effective can it be in conjunction with other creatures such as Zealous Inquisitor
The rest of the changes seems fine, but this specific change doesn't make any sense to me. Coalition Honor Guard is obviously an insane bomb and one of the strongest cards, that can be in your cube, IMO, but Porcelain Legionnaire is also one of the best white 2-drops. If you want strong cards run booth, if you want to cut too strong cards, don't add the Honor Guard.
I want to try the Coalition Honor Guard and its true, I'm thinking it might be too strong. The reason for this change is that Porcelain Legionnaire doesn't support any archetype I'm trying to support. Honor Guard doesn't either, but it's technically better than legionnaire.
But taking Runners argument into the equation I maybe can find a place for it in the colorless slots.
@Worldknit:
I play an obscure CCG called Rifts. There version of sealed include an All-or-Nothing Nation called Ragtag Army whereby you needed to use all 66, your sealed pool, of your carxs and in doing so, all your "Lands" made all "colors". Worldknit may not be common, but it is fine.
I kept all my Vanguard, Planechase, and those Theros Heroes. They are not common, but now and then we use them.
#Sidenote:
Stoic Builder joining Tilling Treefolk could allow an integration of "Land Matters" or at the least 'Land=Card advantage'. Including fetches, cycler, or combine into Spellshapers.
White is brining back aggro by adding the Veteran and Pegasus from Eternal Masters. I already run a solid aggro selection in my cube to support the style as well as give Tempo harder choices.
Naya Swarm can support a Ramp-Lite package with Green's Eldrazi that bring either type of spawn.
The Swarm archetype also cross supports the Sacrifice archetype. If only there were better Sac Benefit options. Exploit may be ok, but not as much.
