Nobody likes Flood? It's been one of the big reasons to draft blue control in my cube. I'd probably put it in the top 10 at least.
Flood isn't productive against aggro without sweeper backup and/or a decent number of finishers. People couldn't hold up UUUU until laaaate game often enough without getting run over by a tide of guys so it got cut. It is sometimes great (grindy matches), but it had this issue with the double blue keeping it from being activated.

Same. Such a shame too as I have an Alternate 4th Edition one.

I write about cube and run cube drafts on magic online.
Since this came up - point of clarity. ONLY functional reprints are being voted on as the same card, not cards that are simply VERY similar.
Same Card-Mind Control/Persuasion (only different name)
Same Card-Gideon's Lawkeeper/Goldmeadow Harrier (only different name/creature type)
Same Card-Fire Ambush/Volcanic Hammer (only different name)
Different Cards-Volition Reins/Confiscate (different mana cost/effect)
Different Cards-Carnophage/Vampire Lacerator (always optional cost vs sometimes mandatory cost)
If you have any doubt about if cards are considered functionally identical or not just ask.

My preference goes along the line of removal + body (because of the reusability of EtB effects)> double removal w/o body > efficient removal > strong dorks > efficient dorks > random useful/unique effects.

Yeah Ribbons is Dimir. Would have probably been like 2nd or 3rd for me too.
