THE NTH GREAT CUBE ROTISSERIE DRAFT PAUPER POWER TIME
I have unwavering faith that we will be able to finish this one this time.
Since some many, many months ago when we did the first Rotisserie Draft, the cube forum should be damn well experts at how to do this. However, since we may have new people who want to participate, and I have the explanatory post somewhere anyway, let's just bust it out.
My Own Explanation
There are 8 players (A to H). The draft begins with every card in the cube available. Player A picks a card, and then Player B picks a card. This continues down until Player H picks a card. Then, we go backwards; Player H picks another card, then Player G, then Player F, until we get back to Player A. And then we go back the normal direction (A picks, then B picks, then C picks...). So, Player A begins, and then we go back and forth and back and forth, with Player H and A getting double picks, until we end the draft at Player H's final, 40th pick.
We play using a Google spreadsheet. You make your pick by striking through the card you want (this is freaking vital) and then posting it in the appropriate box in the Picks sheet. Also, color it depending on the color of the card. There's a 24 hour deadline to making picks, and if youd on't, then your pick is deferred; that is, we will skip you, and you can make your pick any time, except you can't pick cards that the people after you have picked (the punishment for failing to make a pick on time).
Now, I have lot on my plate right now, so I can't be there to manage everything. I'll be relying on my friends to help me, and I'll try to updating the thread title with the current pick, but hopefully we'll be able to do this without too much of a workload on me.
It is going to be random, but with one 'fix'; if there's not enough participants and I rope my friends into this (DarthWaffles, NinjaCaterpie, yarn), I'm going to put us together in the pick order. It's because we live in the same time zone and we're in constant contact, so it'll make the draft faster (and less likely for us to forget, since we remind one another when its our pick).

I call conspiracy!
No, that sounds very reasonable. The speed is the main thing that normally goes wrong with these things.
Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.
Playing the games is always the nebulous and overlooked part of the (my) Roto Drafts, I admit. It's especially hard because people can either have Cockatrice, MWS or neither. But we can try to plan something at the end of this.
I can use either program, they're really similar. Even if we can't have a structured tournament, I would want to jam a few games with people in similar time zones. Plus, I HAVE to play Lanxal

You are on until the break of dawn. I have Cockatrice.
