Mana fixing is a major issue in this environment, thus running multiple sets of the dual lands and copies of City of Brass. I’m also testing doubles of key cards at certain points in the mana curve. For Fallen Empires cards such as Icatian Javelineers, these duplicates are represented with different artwork. (Sadly, this doesn’t seem to display on Cube Tutor...)

Collector’s Edition: Yes. Proxies: Yes.
Banned Cards & Power Level: The Abyss, Maze of Ith, and The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale have shown themselves to upset the power balance and are on vacation in the sideboard. I will reconsider these, as well as adding the Power 9, once I become more comfortable with the overall balance of the cube.
I was inspired to build this cube after seeing Frogczar’s awesome ’94 Magic Cube thread. At first, mine was mostly a mix of Revised, Chronicles, and later core sets. I have been slowly increasing number of black-bordered cards.
Goals:
(1) Improve the balance between aggro, midrange, and control.
(2) Maintain the variety of cool effects while finding the appropriate redundancy in other effects.
Testing:
(1) Including doubles of certain cards.
(2) Including non-’94 cards, currently limited to the 2x Jackal Pup to fill out red’s 1cc creatures.
(3) Orcish Oriflamme and Orcish Artillery are played at their Alpha misprint mana costs, 1R.
(4) Adding more mana fixing. Most of the colors have a large number of CC and 1CC or even CCC spells. For two-colored aggressive decks to play their spells on time, they need enough fixing.
