So some of the people playing my cube said this might be better. I wasn't convinced. However, after playtesting it in an aggro vs control match-up for about 10 game (we were somewhat bored ) I casted it 5 times. At least 3 times either the 1 extra damage or the free casting cost was relevant. I can also remember a situation were top decking Fireblast would have kept me in the game were Volley would have failed. However, in one game I couldn't cast the Fireblast in my hand as I had four lands and I was not willing to sac two where I probably would have sacced 1, nevertheless I was losing that game anyway and Volley wouldn't have saved me. Beastbreaker of Bala Ged > Wild Mongrel
After asking about some green 2 drops in the "this or that" topic, I made this change. Not conviced as of yet, but people really seem to dislike the Beastbreaker. I agree it isn't all that good but Mongrel doesn't seem much better.

Sprout Swarm finally gets cut. There are still match-ups in which it almost single handedly wins the game but those are not the type of match-ups I want to support anymore. Sabertooth might also be good in those match-ups but at least is also good in other match-ups as well.

Far // Away has underperformed for quite some time and Moroii might be just want Dimir wants right now.
Looter is a great card, however two cards in my cube serve a similar function and arguably do it better (Enclave Cryptologist & Looter il-Kor). I don't think I want a third card with that effect.

I can't remember the last time someone played the agent. It is usually too awkward in a deck with blue cards, which are often reactive cards. I'll try the Infiltrator and if I don't like it, I'll replace it with Fleetfeather Cockatrice.
I am starting to think that radiant could be the best white 5+ drop. The worst it is would be top 3 with cloudgoat ranger and custodi squire, but it is significantly better than serra angel

serra angel isn't that good. there's a few more synergystic and value-oriented 5-drops in white that could just push it out. i could see cutting it soon.
With one other flier in play, on either side of the board, it is serra angel.
With two fliers in play (again, combined on both sides of the field) the only nondeathtouch one of them that trades with it is cloudgoat ranger. If you cast lowly old midnight haunting, it fights any other flier as a 6/6 minimum. The upside of this card is just too high.
Some changes to give players more access to combat tricks, not sure if it will work but we'll see. Also went to 370, cutting 5 colorless cards, 3 of each color and 1 of each guild.
Also, I would love some feedback from people with 360 C/Ubes about fixing. I want to go down to 360, but I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with the Khans "gain 1 life" lands. I was pretty happy with the amount of fixing at 400 and it might be too much at 360 but cutting those lands might make it too little agian. So I am thinking of these options:
- Cut 10 Khans lands
- Cut 2 cards per color
- Cut 10 Khans lands, but add 5 Vivid lands and cut 1 card per color
- Cut 10 Khans lands, but add Terramorphic Expanse, Evolving Wilds, Mirrodin's Core and two other non-fixing colorless cards and cut 1 card per color
I have been using multiples of city of brass and so on, but I don't think I would *need* them with 10 tri lands and the vivids. I still prefer it this way though.
I have mangler in over leech because there are are almost no aggro green 3s.
I've cut another five cards after playing a few times this weekend (five more to go) and updated the cube for the Tempest Remastered. Also, as I only play with the same group of 3-6 I wanted to try some proxies as this gives me some idea of their strength before buying it.

3 mana combat trick is just too expensive, although it does have blow-out potential. Living Tsunami

We just can see this working in any way apart for 1 very specific deck and even then you need to draw it early. Restock
Drawing two good cards for 5 mana is decent but drawing 3 random cards for 4 seems better.
Cutting Trusted Forcemage is not a bad idea, although green has few aggro 3 drops, I might do it anyway. Not sure.
Giant Growth with Berserk just seems too unlikely and I still have Brute Force anyway.
I infrequently cast restock without winning. Getting the two best options that you've already played gives you wildly effective control over how the rest of the game will play. Harmonize gets you a land and two random cards. That's not weak, of course, but it doesn't just cause you to flat-out win as often.
Sorry, I recently had games where I was restocking path to exile + finisher and it was wonderful
Did a rich man's draft variant with my cube today. A rich man's draft is traditionally a "draft" in which each player has 1 boosterbox and gets a single pick from each booster. The rest of the booster is not used. A friend of mine did these drafts a few times and proposed doing this with the cube with two players. As my cube is too small for this, we eventually settled on making 36 boosters of 10 cards and we each have 1 pick from each booster. It was quite fun and we both saw almost the entire cube during the draft. Here are the decks:

I'm surprised you would say that. Unless you have cards like Battle Screech, Spectral Procession, Belfry Spirit or Lingering Souls in your pool Serra Angel seems the better pick.

Can be extreme value but it is so situational and expensive.
No tempest Remastered update for now as I still have to get the cards. Probably adding Soltari Champion and Hermit Druid for something like Syndic of Tithes and Abzan Beastmaster.

Orc Sureshot was MVP of this deck. It was either removed within a turn or it completly took over the game. Great Teacher's Decree was also very good here. It went 3-2 against a 4cc deck with Crystal Shard, Bloodbraid Elf and Diabolic Servitude in the same deck.
